Easy first pick. Basic attacks heal and increase mana. Added power and attack speed, as well as the potions help.
==Abilities==
Every level of hives makes AMC more deadlier. At level ten he'll have 50% attack speed, 12 health per second healing, and 30% movement speed. That's insane for lvl 10 buffs.
Swarm is great for lane clear, but duo-lane with your support will make it better to focus on using your basic attack over your abilities.
==Items and Strategies==
With a good aim you'll shred people with this build. I can hear every other guide maker now: "No pen??? UsElESs!!!" AMC is not meant for pen. He has buffs on attack speed that put it beyond normal. He has buffs on healing and movement speed. He can pump out crits like no other. His crit chance is 90% after all of the effects, with almost full attack speed.
That means for 2.5 attacks every second, there is a 90% chance of getting a crit. Deatbringer means that your damage is increased by 30% every crit. This means that 90% of the time, you are doing just over 700 dmg per hit. In one second, you are doing approximately.
So in one second...one bloody second...you are doing just shy of 1770 damage to a person. You can shred an opposing AMC is 1.5 seconds. Giving the tankiest hero the most health in the game possible shreds them in 2.5 seconds. With protections, it lessens, but that's why you have Executioner's Blade and the Wind Demon (which respectively lessens physical protections and creates some attack speed and pen).
Basically, this is the AMC you want to play with. I didn't even mention using your stinger. It's laughable how much you delete with this attack. You're doing almost 1600 dmg with your stinger, which is basically another basic attack at this point that applies bees and cripples them (slowing them down significantly = easier to hit).
Even if you fail the early game, sticking it out to this build will make you a true god.
==Relics==
Beads. The other one is situational. For conquest, get the teleporter. I can hear the "BOOOO"s now. Upgraded TP goes to wards, which means you can take down firegiant or gold furry, go back to base, and then continue the push.

I do appreciate your feedback. I'll try some of the stuff you mentioned and come back t change this. I love AMC, and I usually don't lose with him, but I mostly play lower ranks. So maybe playing him differently would bring me higher. Thanks!
That said, before Ninja Tabi replacement, if you're in range of your hive and you've got the WInd Demon passive going, you're at full AS, so as long as all those are met, DT is still okay (but not my pref of a starter).
Going off of another thread below, it's not about more pen necessarily. You've got The Executioner in there, which is fine unless you want really heavy pen for an exceptionally tanky team. What they're trying to say is that you're building too much into crit with the 3 crit items. If you were instead to get 2 crit items (e.g. Rage + Deathbringer) and switch your starter to Gilded Arrow / Ornate Arrow upgrade, you'll still get very high crit chance but it allows you to get higher power from going into Devourer's Gauntlet (as Perfectium suggests).
I think you also purchase The Executioner too early. When you build into Rage, you usually want it early; helps with a power spike and to start working on your stacks ASAP.
A better build path would be something like:
Some assassin's can get away with building it if necessary, and tanks can definitely build it. And both of them are the biggest threats to you in teamfights. Other hunters building spectral is irrelevant, cause you don't get to hit them for free.
