Regarding the build, I would almost never recommend anti-heal, though if I were to choose it I would just get Toxic Blade, which you do have as a situational item. I know she's squishy and so I get why Berserker's and an item providing both phys and magical protections are appealing, but you're really hurting her damage output by doing that, even if the item has some power. And...she should be massively outdamaging almost all healing, so again, that anti-heal shouldn't generally be necessary. And when you go Tainted, you're missing out on good ADC starters.
Some further thoughts:
I can also agree and sympathize with self-peel and location, especially in a teamfight mode like this and for a god like Freya who doesn't really have an escape outside of her ult. Where in Conquest you more often have people playing their defined roles more appropriately, in the teamfight modes I often experience tanks just diving enemies and not worrying about peeling for their squishy teammates. Protections can be helpful there, definitely.
To get a bit more AS up if you want to go that semi-tanky route, in place of Tainted, you might consider Shogun's Kusari if no one else has gotten it. Provides the AS which is 100% core to Freya's DPS, and the MP5 and CDR are actually really nice, especially in teamfight modes. Helps to have ult up more often.
You might also pay close attention to the gods you're having the most problems with...in some cases, it might be only physical or only magical. This would allow you to just consider 1 protection item for that damage type, and dedicate an extra slot to regular items.
