Sigil is the starter to get. Even pre nerf the end game mitigations will keep you alive while you ult late game. Hastened katana is a must have. If you aren't buying it people are simply running away when you ult. This item lets you chase + bonus movement speed is very good. Rage is almost a necessity on Vamana right now. Crit hunters are everywhere, so you'll have to keep up with their damage. Your crits in your ult are massive. Berserker shield is a perfect item for Vamana, physical defense that adds to your passive, attack speed and mitigation for your ult to be unstoppable, perfect item for vam. Oni hunter or shogun for magic defense. Depends if you want more tankiness with mitigation, or more dps with the attack speed. Golden blade is situational if you want faster wave/ camp clear and movement speed. Deathbringer is your final item to enhance your crit autos for the 1v1 with crit hunters. Spectral armor is situational if you're getting melted by crit hunters before you can pop your ult.Upgrade your starter to sigil of the old guard for more mitigations and prots. Early game is rough. Getting to 5 is always the biggest challenge. Always buy mana chalice. Vamana runs out of mana after 3 abilities. Play safe. This build is excellent mid and late game. Hastened allows you to chase any aggressors in your ult. Once rage is online you will kill anyone you'd like unless they run away. Build tank items if you believe it is necessary. As vamana you should always WAIT for Gods to use their escapes and then immediately ult. They will always escape if you ult when they are holding it. If you lock them into a fight with you they are dead. This build is designed to kill crit hunters meta right now because you outdamage them in your ult with crit. It's always a free 1v1.
