Jing Wei creates a gust of wind that damages enemies and knocks up enemy gods when summoned. The gust persists for 6s and continues to knock up and deal additional damage to enemies every 1s. If Jing Wei walks onto the area she is knocked into the air and gains an attack speed buff for 7s.

Initial Damage: 90 / 140 / 190 / 240 / 290 (+90% of your Physical Power)
Damage Per Tick: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 (+5% of your Physical Power)

Jing Wei dashes straight forward. She may use this ability while knocked into the air for a longer range dash. She also gains a 5s increase to Physical Power and Movement Speed upon using Agility. The effect of this buff is increased if Agility is used from the air.

Introduction

Hey everyone! I'm OMGASIA, casual Smite addict. While I know how to enjoy all casual game modes, I mostly play Assault. I aim to get basic guides up for new Gods as they are released so there is a starting point for players who weren’t able to test them on the PTS. This isn't meant to be a definitive end all be all on Jing Wei. This is the way I've enjoyed playing her so far, and possibly others will enjoy as well!

Without further ado, here's Jing Wei!


I have to say, she is absolutely adorable.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes!

Jing Wei had a few changes on the live client! These are the same changes that were on the PTS.

General changes:



Base Physical Power per level increased from 2.5 to 2.7.

Fixed an issue where her passive would not activate when leaving the fountain in Assault.


Persistent Gust



Increased attack speed buff from 25% to 20/25/30/35/40% per rank.

Increased duration of attack speed buff from 5s to 7s.


Explosive Bolts



Fixed an issue with this ability providing ammo without going on cooldown.


Agility



Using Agility from the ground now removes basic attack movement penalty for 3s.

Increased buff duration from 5s to 6s when Agility is used from the air.


Air Strike



Increased damage from 200/280/360/420/500 to 220/310/400/490/580.

Increased landing range from 40 to 55.

Pros and Cons

Pros: Cons:
  • Most of her damage is very reliant on basic attacks which may be hard for some players.

  • Her ultimate is easy to dodge if the enemy is paying attention.

  • Her mobility makes it really easy to get overconfident and put yourself in a tight spot.

  • I'm pretty sure she's not 18. Just sayin'.

pretty old guide, some newer builds are out there that explain jing wei much better than this, and are updates for the lastest patch

Ninja Tabi > Jotuun's Wrath > Odysseus' Bow > Titan's Bane > Rage > Deathbringer.

It makes her monstrous.

In conquest: Ninja Tabi, Transcendence, Jotuun's, Odysseus Bow, Rage, Deathbringer.

My preferred build on her is as fallowed:
Warrior Tabi>Odysseus' Bow>Deathbringer>Malice>The Executioner>Qins Sais
Also last item i pick between Qins Sais and Asi

got some pic of matches in arena with build haven't yet try any other with this build. Let me all know if u like this. ^^

Relic: other relic is all up to u ^^

Damage camps are also a thing to get with her if can ^^

no need to stack with her bc her damage is good with out it if u can get all hits in. ur after ur crit with full build crit about 467-667 also with transcendent u hit 500-667 so ur doing same amount of damage. but u also gotta think is there more then 1 person stacking in ur team? no/yes really all depends on if u should stack or not in my opinion don't wanna have 2-3 people stacking etc..etc. If u wanna stack go for it but i see no use in stacking with her she reckts minions and gods just fine all u gotta do is know what to do and when and if ur good with her anything will work for yea :D. When pope ur 2 then pop ur 1 after that pop ur 3 after u run into ur 1 then u have great speed with atk plus the movement speed for like 5-6 secs u can pretty much take on anything lol

I don't know how to play Jing Wei

Nothing in her kit feels smooth... She needs to cc herself and/or waste her escape before engaging in a fight. Both ability can potentially put her in an unfavorable position. Her ult is impossible to land due to the long wind up time.

I especially hate the Persistent Gust ability. It's hard to hit the enemy with it due to the tiny radius and long wind up time. Using it on herself is even more paradoxical. If you use it when enemies are close by. It's free poke/kill for your enemy because you cc'd yourself. If you use it when enemies are far. They can just keep distance with you and you just wasted an ability.

I know her passive is awesome/op and maybe that's why HiRez gave her a ****py kit but I just can't play her well.

All she's good for (to me at least) is playing co-op (medium) bots... She's great firefighter when my team needs baby sitting and I can always keep my build online with her passive. I can end a conquest with all bots partners very quickly. Enemies bots were only able to reach level 14~17. Which is an impossible task for any other gods due to how bad the bot teammate sucks. (This was before the golden bow nerf though)

Generally I keep release guides updated for initial changes. For Jing Wei that was this patch. I'll keep the guide up as long as it is still relevant. Once the information contained is no longer relevant I'll archive the guide, but you can still access it from any of my current guides via the links in the "More Guides" section. Usually by that time more guides have come out that help players more than mine.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
