I have fraps but it is ridiculous when it comes to file size of a complete game.

And all these other free to use are just trial that let you record 30 seconds or 5 minutes at a time, would prefer also to be able to use my mic and speak so i can comment in the videos, thank you!

The best one is FRAPS.
There is no way around it of having a big file for a 40 min recording. Afterwards there are compressors to make it not so giant but there just is no way around that right now that I know of. The raw files are just going to always be giant.

That is only for streaming is it not?

Nah it isn't. I record almost all my youtube videos with DxTory.
It has the best setting section ever, way better than Fraps settings.. well there are no settings in fraps. There is another program for streaming directly, but I forgot the name.

SmiteFire & Smite
