BONUS BALANCE - LIVE APRIL 30


ITEMS



EQUINOX

"We’re so excited to see the excitement around this brand new Katana, but it is clearly overperforming. In general, the healing this item provides is very strong in the early game, while the damage scales too significantly toward the late game."
  • Decreased Heal from 2 to 1
  • Decreased Damage per level from 3 to 2



STORMSEEKER

"Unlike the other new item in this patch, Stormseeker has clearly not performed to the level we had hoped. We are adjusting the base stats to make it a more competitive item amongst other first item choices, and we are buffing the Attack Speed per stack to allow the item to be more efficient, even at fewer Basic Attacks hit."
  • Increased Physical Power from 15 to 25
  • Increased Attack Speed per auto from 0.15% to 0.25%



HYDRA'S LAMENT

"Throughout the past few patches, we’ve seen the emergence of a high Cooldown and burst build coming out of the Jungle. We want to hit the late game burst potential of this build now, but we are also closely monitoring its early game impact, and for gods who use these items in other roles as well."
  • Decreased Bonus Damage from 30% of your Physical Power to 25%

GODS



SUN WUKONG

"Despite the Equinox meta over in the Solo lane, the Monkey King has been a stand-out performer thanks to the strong self-buff and solid clear that allows him to keep up in the early game."



UNDEFEATED BODY
  • Decreased duration from 12s to 8s



THE MAGIC CUDGEL
  • Decreased bonus Minion Damage from 30% to 20%



AH MUZEN CAB

"The bee has been a menace in the midlane, even with recent nerfs. We are closely monitoring the Physical Mid build path, but we did notice how Ah Muzen Cab has an outstanding win and ban rate amongst his peers – deserving of a few nerfs!"



BEES!
  • Decreased Damage Scaling per tick from 6% to 5%



HIVE
  • Decreased Movement Speed from 10/15/20/25/30% to 10/14/18/22/26%



THOTH

"Thoth’s poke potential makes him a frustration to play against, and a stand out mage in the Mid lane in regards to win rate. By adjusting his poke to be on a slightly longer cooldown, and with slightly less enhanced damage through Glyph of Pain, we intend to give his opponents some more room to breathe."



HIEROGLYPHIC ASSAULT
  • Increased Cooldown from 8s to 10s



GLYPH OF PAIN
  • Decreased Bonus Ability Damage from 15/25/35/45/55 to 10/20/30/40/50

GENERAL



COOLDOWN BUFF

"With the addition of the flat Cooldown Reduction to this buff that came in 11.4, we felt the buff was not only somewhat overcomplicated, but also scaled to be too powerful. With this shift, we’re making it considerably stronger in the early game to encourage action around it as an objective, whilst weakening it in the later game where it had become one of the strongest buffs on the map."
  • Shifted flat Cooldown Reduction from 5% + 0.75% per level to 10% at all levels
