Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

- Starter Options: Vampiric Shroud ( Sacrificial Shroud), Sands of Time (either upgrade), Conduit Gem ( Gem of Focus)
- Ring Tree: Telkhines Ring, Cyclopean Ring, Demonic Grip, Ring of Hecate
- Hastened Fatalis
- Lifesteal Items: (Telkhines as previously mentioned in the ring tree), (Vampiric / Sac Shroud as previously mentioned), Bancroft's Talon ( Nimble Bancroft's Talon), Typhon's Fang
- Optional/Situational: Rod of Tahuti ( Perfected Rod of Tahuti), Rejuvenating Heart (interesting team effect if you go hard into lifesteal), Magi's Cloak (probably into Magi's Revenge), very situational defense in the case of very high enemy CC).
You shouldn't need to consider any other items for the most part. You don't need to worry about anti-heal like Divine Ruin because you should blast through any healing most enemies can do.
I'm all for people learning how to build, and if you're using these builds you've created to get feedback and learn, that's fine, but at this point with the builds being proposed, I strongly recommend taking a look at other builds here to get an idea of proper builds, use them in game (especially against anything you've played with) and see how it feels in comparison.
