Hey everyone ,
I was just wondering how come there are no japanese myth gods in smite ? recently i made a research on the internet and I found pretty nice ones ....

The picture sucks , but at least it gives a lot of new ideas.... I don't know if u ever watched Naruto, but for an example lets take Susanoo from japanese mythology and look at this :

it looks cool , hope they introduce one of them soon.... byeeeee :D

Problem is, they have gods associated with their respective elements in different pantheons.

Examples include :
-Amaterasu the God of the Sun (We already have
-Bishamonten the War God (We already have
-Kaminari of Thunder (We already have

Sooo it would be difficult for them to implement these gods in the game and to balance it.

I guess it would be nice if the implemented gods from Japan, but they want to add well-ish known gods (par the Mayans) As well, it seems like they already have enough pantheons, so why add more>

I think that the main reason that Hi-rez is holding of on Shinto gods is because unlike every pantheon in Smite (except Hindu) the Shinto faith isn't dead. As we saw with Hindu some ~~crybabies~~ people got offended that Smite included the gods they worshiped. The same could happen if lest say Amaterasu was added.

With that said I totally agreed that Shinto gods in Smite would be awesome!

Anyway, even if they decide to add in some more pantheons Hi-Rez has said that they'll be doing it later, as right now they want to flesh out the current pantheons in-game.
