Introduction

Hi, my nick is GamerOldTimes and I've been playing smite since the beta. During these weeks I have been seeing an increase in players in the different game modes, possibly due to the announcement of Smite 2, So I decided to make a small guide to Tyr and the basics of Solo lane

  • The builds works in all game-modes.
  • Any improvement or detail that I may have forgotten, do not hesitate to comment.
  • English is not my main language, any correction is appreciated.
  • Don't be toxic

Here are my socials:

Ability Rotation

Blink Initation:

Blink Rune> Fearless (Red form)> Power Cleave> Change Stance> Basic Attack> Fearless(Blue form) and cancel the ability with Power Cleave

Example video

With Guard Form Initation (Blue):

Fearless> Power Cleave(for cancel the dash)> Change Stance> Basic attack> Fearless(Assault Form)> Power Cleave> Basics Attacks
Example video

Pros / Cons

Pros:
  • High Single Target Damage
  • High CC
  • Good waveclear and mobility
  • Have healing
  • Great ult to attack or escape
  • Very tanky
  • He has one of the best passives in the game

Cons:
  • Needs cooldown
  • Mana hungry early on
  • Cripples and silences are your worst enemy

To keep in mind

To keep in mind

- You can interrupt your dash of Fearless with your Power Cleave in the middle of the animation
- If you have Eldritch Dagger, you will create a lot of pressure on their backline with Scorching Blink Rune and Temporal Beads, Eldritch Dagger is so good with Tyr
- Manticore's Spikes is nerfed, but you will do more damage for his passive, good item for poke in lane vs picks tanks (warriors-supports).
- Blackthorn Hammer is a good option for dont buy Mystical Earrings at the start
- You can mix the different builds, all the items used work very well with Tyr
- You can replace Pestilence for another item, or buy Genji's Guard first

Solo Basics

Start in Game

Wards for Solo

Yellow=For prevent ganks (Buy in the first or second back)

Green=Early/Rotational wards, you don't go out of your way to place these wards. Place them while already in the area, they are used to prevent blind spots while you rotate. They also double as objective wards. (Good for steal buffs in early)

Blue=Late game wards, you want to place them as high as possible without getting caught by the enemy doing so. They cut off chokepoints on the enemies side, which lets you know which side of the map they are on. Good wards for a Fire Giant fight.
Priorities for solo
Blue >The Totem >White Camp >Naga Camp

- Better if you don't lose minions
- The last hit on the minions will give you extra gold
- Prevent the minions from entering your tower, you will lose gold (-75% gold)
- Make camps between waves

Game Phases

Early Game

Tyr isn't especially strong in the early game, if the other guy is just good and plays carefully, you shouldn't be able to cause pressure before level 3/4, unless you clear wave while hitting the enemy god with your combo.
Although you can easily generate pressure if you use Blink Rune for hit the wave and the enemy solo.

Mid Game
After holding on for the first few levels, the mid game is where Try really starts to build high pressure, at this point you need to have some CD, his sustain is better than many gods, however, to get a good amount of sustain, you must reach at least 3 levels in your skill. That is why at level 6/7 you can afford to fight the enemy alone even with the wave against you.
In case you rotate to the center line, you should be able to kill the enemy mid

Late Game
In the late game you want to work closely with your team, try to dive into the backline to knock the mage/adc out of position either towards the rest of your team or so he can't contribute to the team fight .
You should also be able to kill the enemy backline if you go with a hybrid build.

All camps and Objectives

All camps and Objectives
  • Mana Buff: Composed of two Satyrs and one Satyr Buff Holder that spawns 15 seconds into the game and has a respawn time of 2 minutes, It is important that as solo you secure your blue.
    Stats Blue Camp
  • The Totem: Defeating it grants 25 gold to all members of the killer's team and enhances all allied towers until it respawns. The enhanced towers grants a buff to allies within the tower area until they leave it, after which the buff lasts for 10s. The buff increases movement speed by 5% and MP5 by 20 to 30, scaling over time with 3 tiers from 0-15 min.
    Stats Totem

  • Naga Camp: Nagas will guard the area of the teleport until minute 8, You are interested in getting their gold and extra experience between the lines
    Stats Naga Camp
  • White Camp: It is composed of one Scorpion. It spawns in the second wave and have a respawn time of 120 seconds
    White stats
  • Celestial Comets: At 90 seconds into the game, a Comet will crash down in a lane, has 10 pips and can be damaged only by Basic Attacks, each time a Comet is damaged, a Chunk will fly off of it toward whoever hit it, after the Comet is destroyed, Indra’s Scepter will spawn, which then can be picked up when only one god remains in its area
    More info

  • Totem Buff for your blue camp: Now when you pick up the blue, you will get a passive depending the selected totem, you must always choose the blue totem (+10% CD) if you do not have the 40% cooldown, if you have it, you must choose the green one (for support) or yellow (for penetration)
    All info of totems

  • The Stygian Beacon: Instead, each team that captures the Beacon will deal damage to all frontline enemy structures, this damage can kill Towers, but will never bring a Phoenix lower than 10% of it’s Maximum Health.
    - YOU SHOULD TRY TO BE IN THIS TEAMFIGHT
    More info
  • Harpies: Defeating it grants XP and gold, you can invade their jungle, but you must be careful with their enemy jg.
    Harpies Stats

  • Damage Buff : They are composed of two Manticores and one Manticore Buff Holder. They spawn 0 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 2 minutes (120 seconds)
    Stats Red camp

  • Support Buff : They are composed of two Dryads and one Dryad buff holder. They spawn 5 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 2 minutes (120 seconds).
    Stats Green camp

  • Speed Buff : They are composed of two Centaurs and one Centaur Buff Holder. They spawn 5 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 2 minutes (120 seconds).
