Vampiric Shroud: This item must be one of your starter items, because it gives you some sustain, which is extremely needed for early game. You also gain some power and MP5, so you can stay in lane. |
Soulstone | Soulstone: I didn't put this item in any of the builds above, but I see lots of people are buying it for Scylla. The passive of this item is really awesome and fits Scylla well, but the only problem with it is the following: it gives you no sustain. Vampiric Shroud wins over it because if you don't have any lifesteal you will die fast. |
Lost Artifact: As I mentioned above, sustain and lifesteal are necessary when playing Scylla. This item gives you that extra lifesteal and power that will keep you in lane. Also you can build any lifesteal item from it later. Combine it with Vampiric Shroud and you have 40 Magical Power and an amazing early lifesteal when you go out from the fountain. |
Aegis Amulet: An active as Starter? Yes, Sir. As I mentioned above I only recomend buying this against gods with deadly ults like Scylla, Poseidon and Thanatos. Just imagine playing Thanatos and jumping on someone with a death mark to get the Tower Dive, he uses his Aegis and you die. That's why you should buy it. |
Warlock's Sash | Warlock's Sash: Let's start stacking! What do you get if you use Warlock's Sash? Health, Power and Mana. In one word: Sustain. I like to get this right after Shoes, because I can stay in lane and get kills thanks to this nice item. If you have max stacks you gain 110 Magical damage. This is AWESOME! Using this item is recomended for beginner players, because it gives you sustain. |
Book of Thoth: Scylla has some serious mana problems. To fix this, you can get this nice mana river. It also gives you 100 Magical Power and 125 Mana instantly! When you finish stacking you get 875 Mana from a single item. Also 3% of your Mana is converted into Magical Power wich means you get a total of 126 Magical Power from this item.I recomend this item for advanced players, because it doesn't give you any sustain. |
Obsidian Shard: Penetration matters a lot. This item cobined with the Shoes of the Magis is AMAZING.You will see a HUGE damage increase on your Sic 'Em+ Crush combo. |
Chronos' Pendant: 75 Magical Power and 25% CDR. This item is perfect for Scylla. If you use Shoes of Focus and Chronos' Pendant together, you have 40% CDR. This is very cool in late game. Your enemies will cry when you use your ultimate so oftenly. So: Chronos' Pendant is a must have item for you. |
Soul Reaver: This item brings some amazing things to the table. 100 Magical Power and 300 Mana. These are AMAZING, but its passive makes it one of the best items for Scylla {maybe the best lol}. You should always be careful to not to waste it, because it will help you when ganking duo lane and also in teamfights. This item is a MUST HAVE one. |
Aegis Pendant: I recomend using this active if you are facing a god like Poseion, He Bo or another Scylla. You can dodge their ultimates easily with this. |
Purification beads: Buy this if there is an Ares in the enemy team. He is the only reason why you should buy this. |
If you have problems hitting Sic 'Em

don´t get a single kill with this build....
You need ages to farm the money for the eq!
I'm about making a big update for this guide. More build choices will be added so anyone can pick the one that's comfortable for them.
You need ages to farm the money for the eq!
Hey, I tried to make my own build by looking at some guides and advices.
So i want you to see my build and tell me what u think of it, (advantages, disadvantages,)
so that's the build by order:
magi shoes
chronos
sash
thoth
tahuti
bancroft
Another option is replacing tahuti with thoth to get more damage earlier.
In my opinion you should not double stack. If you are a beginenr with Scylla, then get Warlock's Sash and if you are expert feel free to use Book of Thoth. Replace the other one with Obsidian Shard. Like this:
Shoes of the Magi
Warlock's Sash
Obsidian Shard
Rod of Tahuti
Bancroft's Talon
So, For the actual review, I wanna start by saying that you gave nice information, But i feel that with Scylla there a lot more strategies as to how to land your abilities.
The build's fine, But I think it's better to rush Chronos' Pendant than benecroft's talon, Since benecroft's talon's lifesteal is more useful late game and Chronos' Pendant will give you the opportunity to do more in mid-late and it costs the same.
As you know, Scylla has a huge mana problem. That's why i prefer getting Book of Thoth in stand of warlock's sash. Plus, They cost the same, Book of Thoth is easier to stack and it gives you more power, I feel like warlock's sash is kind of a safe choice and it would fit better in a beginner build.
Void Stone is fine, But it doesn't really help you since your not close combat and it's passive will not help you at all.
A better combo for Scylla with begginers that don't know how to land their sic em is using Crush first and then popping it.
In the skills you could explain much more then 3 lines.
A matchups section should be nice.
Overall, I give this guide a 7/10, Which is an upvote. But you have a lot to improve.
Yeah you are right. I will make a beginner and a beginner and an expert build as soon as i will have time for that. Also I will add the counters too :)

You can't get it anymore. At least not from buying it directly.
No Tips and tricks whatsoever, And the rest is explained in the reviews above me
I don't agree, I actually thinks the guide does show some tips and tricks.
- Book of Thoth replaced with Obsidian Shard
- Doom Orb replaced with Bancroft's Talon
