Like in most MOBAs anyone can make their towers invulnerable/High defense for a short period of time in desperate situations. But after a certain amount of time has passed since the last activation that it can be used again.

Do you guys think this should also be in smite?

Yeah man, it can be or it cant.... The thing is, in other games towers are ... you know.... different abit... The thing is i would like to see it in smite as the towers melt tooooooo fast when 5 man rush it even at early levels.

i am pretty sure there used to be an item that you could buy that would buff all your structiors.
it being taken out means that it didn't work out well or it worked out too well.
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

Well if it worked to well they could increase the time where you can use it again. like say every 10 mins. that seems fair

I dunno, combined with the respawn time reduction, it seems like it'd make defense too easy.

And adding that would end split pushing. In other mobas, it takes a bit longer to get there without using teleports so I can understand that. But in Smite, you can get across the map pretty fast.

There actually was an item like that. It was removed, most likely from it being too strong/lacks counterplay. If it what a buff to towers as opposed to full invulnerability, it probably would be A-OK.

It should be a buff not invulnerability. I have no idea what is was like before but it should really be a buff like add 100 protection to all towers and maybe even minotaur for a few seconds. Only for conquest though and maybe joust.
