I can't be the only one to feel as if gaining favor is taking way too much time.
It may not seem AS hard to get favor if you still have leveling up to do but for me sitting at level 30 its a life wasting consumable effort.

Now Its not so bad when you want to buy something thats 5500 favor.

But!!!

I just completed my masterly rank with anhur and was expecting to play with that skin today!
Until I see the damn price was a whooping 15,000k!!!

Now seriously that would be perfectly fine if you could gain favor by playing LONG AMOUNTS OF TIME in a day but its not like that.

Me sitting at level 30 I get NO extra favor for leveling up since 30 is the max.
You only get 100 favor for first win of the day.
Matches can even take up to 1:30 minutes possibly longer if its an even match!!!

Seriously am I the only one that feels Hi-Rez has it set up this way so that people are almost forcing themselfs to spend money on smite???

I honestly cannot stand the though of having to play 40 days NON STOP 24/7 just to get enough favor for that skin, so yes I will have to unlikingly pay money because MY *** I AM GOING TO WASTE MY LIFE THAT LONG FOR A SKIN!!!

I think Hi-Rez needs to put something in the game to increase your favor.

Like how about a BONUS for every hour you have been playing smite?

Like if you played for 10 hours you should get alot of favor compared to 2 hours?

This and make more levels or something because its honestly sickenining to see my 5500k and think about how long it will take just to snatch 15000k for every skin like this.

I am honestly suprised I am spending well over $60 on a damn pc game by now that **** is shamful.

I can't believe they make you pay favor for the golden skin, mean come on its barley worth it for a small re-color and allowing everyone to see how many kills, wins and assist you have.

I agreed that getting favor is way to hard, I did not have this problem for long because I hit level 30 not to long ago, but now I know better (It take forever to get enough favor so I can get that sweet Bloodfire skin for Hades D:)

ya man, I mean hey when your not level 30 its not too too hard.
Plus if your only trying to get ONE SKIN its kind of fair but when you try to get MORE SKINS then your *** is in for a world of no lifing.

Ya it really sucks, but screw it I'm gonna go to game stop in about 15 minutes and go spend $20 on this damn **** so I can buy that skin, I just have to have it I could careless bout the other god skins but when it comes to my anhur I need it.

Its not as bad for me because I already had $500 saved up lol but before when I only had like $10 it was pissing me off and even though I have that much money saved up I'm not spending that money on bs skins that take 15000k every time.

I would be okay if it was easier to gain favor but favor is hard as hell to get after level 30 especially when you get more gods.

I have to buy new speakers and stuff because I own a home studio so thats why I had that much money saved up, can't be buying too much smite stuff. **** I should make a rap song of smite and give it to their facebook maybe they give me some favor

Skins don't have an ingame effect, so they are unnessesarary. If you really want a skin just buy it for favor or EARN it ;)
This is better than lol where skins are only for riot points and champs cost a lot :P

Why do so many users of Smite complain that something isn't free enough? Is it so bad to work for something you want? If so, buy the gems, stop complaining. Hi-Rez has done the player base a FAVOUR, by releasing skins you don't technically have to pay for. The gold skins are another instance of this. I foresee droves of kids complaining about the 15000 favour price ad nauseum, until they lower the price to 11000, and even if that happens, they'll complain it isn't 9500, or 5500 favour. Mark my words, the community will not be satisfied until everything is free, or attainable with two games played, win or lose. The sense of entitlement of the children making these requests is sickening, generally speaking.

If you got banned from their forums, there was a reason. That isn't Hi-Rez' fault. They don't ban for 'no reason'.

Well actually I think I got banned because the moderator was MAD BRO that whatever he was saying was wrong. OH never mind I remember why I got banned.

Because someone made a thread saying REPORT PLAYERS WHO SAY A BAD WORD.
So I said what are you 12 years old? If someone calls you a name do you cry like a baby?
Then I said that there is a MUTE BUTTON so that makes reporting over a word ******ed because it makes the MUTE BUTTON have no meaning if you can just report.

Basically I got banned over that it was called harassment and yes that moderator was a **** rider or something because he didn't ban the other people harassing me but maybe because I don't cry over it because I'm using to the real world.

Okay now basically you see how I just made this post? This post would be the reason I get banned.

As far as the favor ITS PERFECTLY FINE IF you are spending 30 days for ONE SKIN that you will have forever.

HOWEVER, you have a **** load more skins to unlock and taking 30 days per skin is way to long FOR PEOPLE THAT PLAY ALL DAY.

Notice I said for people that play all day.
If we are that awesome to play their game non stop they should reward us by letting our favor bonus increase the longer we play the game.

By the way Hi-Rez is a business, they set it up right so people pay money.
I would do the same thing.

THink about it this way.

I NEVER buy ANYTHING from games and I have put OVER $60 into smite.
They made over $60 from me ALONE.

When I play games its usually the more you play the faster you get what you want.
with smite i can play 24/7 and still not even have enough favor for one damn skin.

KEEP THE PRICES THE SAME BUT INCREASE FAVOR FOR HOURS PLAYING THE GAME!!!

This way for those who don't play alot the skins are the same and for us who fiend all day long we can get skins faster after all thats the whole damn point of playing smite longer other than the fact for fun.

I have almost all favour skins unlocked, and I normally only play during the week in between the time I get home, and have to go to sleep to get up for work, and i dont even play 5 out of 7 days on average. thise are just the days I can, and will play. The key is working for what you want.

...Really? I personally find favor gain to be in a good place. With First Win of the Day bonuses being available for every game mode and your goodwill maxed out, it's much easier to build up favor compared to other games, like say IP in LoL.

Also, I find a lot of people seem to be forgetting a few other things.

First off, this is a free-to-play game. Grinding up favor is supposed to be the alternative to spending real money to unlock things in this game, which is how the game is kept alive.

Second, there's the ultimate god pack. For just 30$ or so, you can have every god unlocked for you, and the only things you would ever need to spend favor on are recolor skins. Considering most gods cost 5500 favor, this will save you a lot of time, and a lot of my friends say it's worth it.
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

This.

I bought the Ultimate God Pack, and that's why I've got almost all recolours in the game...
Favour is nothing if you support the company, to be honest.
