Game worked perfect before this recent patch, now since I've had to download this VS redistributable **** my client won't load properly.
I run up the game, get the splash screen like normal, and then the screen goes black. I can hear the sound effects for the login screen, but the monitors just flips between black and light black every few seconds and eventually everything just freezes completely. I can't alt tab or ctrl+alt+del or do anything. Only thing that gets rid of it is restarting the pc.

It's not a hardware issue, I've messed around with the BattleConfig resolution settings, I've reinstalled everything smite related, I've tried the repair/diagnostic tool.

Interestingly enough, I get the same exact problem when trying to run some steam games too. But Battlefield 4 works perfectly fine. Something about this patch messed me up.

Check firewall, try to reinstall, preform a virus scan.

yep I am , posted in another thread. All the obvious checks have been done, safe mode, repair tool, complete reinstall, driver check, I would be much more frustrated if it weren't for the fact that I have another laptop I can play smite on, but I mainly played on this one, and it would be fun get my little brother on the other and smite it up a bit, no can do now
