Ao Kuang Teleports forward into Stealth, leaving behind a watery form of himself. He remains in Stealth for 5s or until he attacks or takes damage.

Ao Kuang may activate this ability again to detonate the watery form, dealing damage to nearby enemies.

Ao Kuang summons 6 dragons to his side. For every successful basic attack Ao Kuang makes, a dragon will dive to the target dealing additional damage. This ability ends after all dragons are used, or after 10s.

Ao Kuang may activate this ability again to send forward any remaining dragons in a ranged attack. The dragons damage and Slow the first enemy they hit.

Wild Storm

Ao Kuang unleashes a storm of lightning from his sword, damaging all enemies in front of him. This will send a Dragon from Dragon's Call forth, dealing damage to hit targets.

Ao Kuang grabs a single target, damaging and knocking them into the air. If the target is below a Health threshold, Ao Kuang will also reveal his true form, becoming an airborne Dragon and executing them restoring Health. After transforming Ao Kuang then picks a new location to land, dealing damage to enemies within 20 units.

Summary

You should hit level five after second rotation. Try to avoid opposing jungler until then due to Ao Kuang being weak in the early stages of the game. Try not to gank until after second rotation unless it is just to reduce pressure or if an enemy is very low on health.

Ability combo is quite simple, hit your two, then three, then wack away until execution symbol appears. Mid-Late game you will burn through just about anyone's health with a 2.2 attack speed and 65% life steal in addition to bonus life steal/damage from your two. Use your one to escape or to hunt down a fleeing enemy. Late game try to save your execute for when you get into trouble. The Ultimate has saved me countless amounts of times.

The biggest weakness to ao kuang is Damage over time that reveals him when he goes invisible, as well as long stuns. Bait out stuns and roots then watch the damage fly.

Be patient, have fun, watch the surrenders unfold as you go 15-0 within 15 minutes of gameplay!

So what about the optional build where they build anti-heal?

Also that start is terrible beyond belief. and ?

toxic blade is anti heal. Horrific emblem works wonders especially early game prior to ao kuang having his rings. I've experimented with build order and rushing bancroft works as well I just have a better time with that start.

I should have said I meant when the enemy build anti-heal.

Also horrific emblem does not work wonders early game. Blink is better.

Toxic blade on ao is a strange pick up. Divine ruin would be better, no?

Not sure to be honest. Attack speed build is the best build on him currently so I guess either could work. I don't really play Ao though. Probably best to ask Lasbra on his stream or something.

I looked at smite pro builds, and i have seen the occasional divine ruin but never the toxic blade.

I've experimented with both, divine ruin is great and all, but toxic blade puts attack speed at 2.2 along with pen. This combined with the rest of the pen in the build is more than enough. In my own experience, the shredding of even the tankiest tanks is unreal, especially with executing them. To answer your question, divine ruin works just fine if that's your preference, I have more success with blade.
