How the hell am I forcing my views onto you by stating my point. Its not like I said everything I said was right and everything you said was wrong. I also managed to say all of this without insulting you, unlike you.
I used Imagination because you mentioned fiction. Then I used context to try to tell you the point that you were missing. He mentioned "gods", and automatically we think of magic, fantasy, and myths. Of course we think of the "elements", in the books we have read. Then with the same context in mind, we apply that now (modern times), and what we might consider an "element". In context it makes sense.
Then the other person comes along and says that actually that he was talking about the classical elements, not the elements in the modern sense. I did not deny it or state he was wrong. In fact I agree with it. The only thing I did was change the context a little so that it made sense to me, and to the blog post.

In the East the Elements are Fire, Wood, Water, Metal, and Earth.
It's funny how you're trying to prove him wrong but it's not working in your favor as someone who has studied the mystical side of this world, I know what I'm talking about.
But you keep ignoring how he said "modern," and no amount of imagination turns "modern" into "classical," because hardly anyone thinks "modern elements" means the classical four, no matter how much they want it.
Because you don't seem to understand what imagination means. People don't use imagination when they take the OP's statement and reply "[representation of classical elements]," they figure out that the OP made a mistake in terminology and correct it themselves without making a fuss.

My ****ing point is that they still call it that way because they WANT to, and STILL know the difference. Its okay to use their imagination in the modern world. You clearly didnt read my second sentence of my last statement, or else you wouldnt be saying I confuse imagination with reality.
There is not only "one" way to see things, that is the whole point of imagination (and philosophy).
Call elements whatever you want, by science or by fiction, but dont belittle ANYONE for saying that.
*Scientific sense* you mean. Tons of modern people call fire or air an element still. Mostly because of shows and books and stuff like that.
Ooh, that's right! Fantasy dictates how we see things!
Advanced Drone said modern, not classical. He is calling Fire-Earth-Water-Air the "modern" elements. Which they are obviously not. His mistake.
