Today is my 5th day of 5 of a customized and clinically studied fasting-mimicking diet, with a very tailored and severely reduced caloric intake. The purpose of fasting isn't for weight loss (though I could definitely afford to shed a few pounds, or kilos for the rest of you non-Americans). Instead, at around the 3rd day, it puts your body into a different state, where it's now realized standard nutrition isn't incoming. It forces your body into a protective state, and allows for cellular regeneration, refreshes stress resistance, removes damaged cells and/or increases repair of cells. Basically, it's rejuvenation for the body's organs.
In any case, I'm definitely hungry, and a bit on the weak side, but feeling pretty good today. The 2nd day was amazingly the worst, where I felt foggy, lethargic, and had a headache. I'm definitely ready to have some normal food though.
As for ALSO today...as everyone knows, Smash Bros Ultimate has been released. I can't believe they're putting Joker from Persona 5 in as a DLC character...guess who's more excited than I am? My kids...lol. They love watching me play that game for some reason.
I'm super pumped for it. I've seen a lot of mixed/negative reviews on the World of Light single player mode, but I think I'll be perfectly happy with it. But I get an earlier taste...some coworkers got it last night, and another coworker created a mobile gaming system (originally meant for a Raspberry Pi setup), and he made some adjustments so we can play the Switch on it. That's what we're doing for lunch (and by lunch, I don't really mean lunch for me, lol).
Guess that got my appetite warming up though, because by noon I was starving. Went for pho, and it was amazing. Figured it was a good choice...light broth, rice noodles, and I just had some basic chicken in it for protein.

Are you the Researcher as well? Dissertation?

I'm going to take the opposite side and say there's a good chance this isn't spam, due to putting some thought into the comment.
Taking the subject matter, if you look into both referenced "doctors," (Dr. Sebi isn't actually a medical doctor), you'll find that both have relationships with fasting concepts as a form of healing.
Looking at my post and how I've talked about cellular regeneration and other things, the comment of "are you the Researcher" and "dissertation" are actually fitting and within the context.
And mentioning Eastern medicine, which often looks to other things such as trying to find and deal with the root cause rather than treating the symptom as much of Western med does...well, if you think about it...maybe not spam after all.
