Borderlands 2

I've been playing this game A LOT recently and may I say, this game is amazing. I usually completely detest games like CoD, but Borderlands 2 is definitely an exception. (I'm guessing it's moreso my Diablo side that's making me love this game, with all the looting). Anyway, if you are a fan of quirky FPS (Team Fortress 2) and looting RPGs (Diablo Series), then you should definitely check it out!
Tell that to my wife about the kids.

Wish I could enjoy this game but playing the first one, Land of the Bored, I just cant pull myself to shell out $60 for this game. The first one ruined the series for me and from everyone that I have talked to about it, they say its pretty much the same game as the first at its core . :(
I actually have never played the first one, so I can't say I relate to what you're talking about. But yes, it isn't a game for everyone. To be honest, I hate FPS which was why I was a bit iffy on whether to buy it. Of course, I can definitely see why this may not appeal to some people, as basically it is just a humorous FPS game that is very drawn out with quests and sheer size of the maps. Still, if what 'everybody' says is true, then of course, feel free to pass. Why waste money on something you're going to hate.
