Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. In my case of conquest, I have around 70 matches played now. Doing absolutely horrible in your qual matches makes you stay there for a while. Since I did bad on my quals months ago and didn't touch conquest league for a while, my elo dropped to like 600 from 1500. In a week I brought it up to over 1k and got my win % from like a 30 to 59. Also I'm in silver 5 too :). So if you keep doing exceptional you'll get promoted a bunch until you hit around 40-50 games. I know someone who won all his quals and went directly to diamond 5.
Sigh this is gonna be a long 3 weeks to get to play for me. You lucky Danish :P
