So today marks my 1 year anniversary on SMITE I don't know why that came by really quickly, but it's here. So my progression through one year of my account on SMITE are.

So yeah it's been a fun trip playing SMITE for a entire year and I hope to spend a other one with this fantastic community.

Yeah during 9 months I usually play around 1 - 2 hours of Smite. But during the summer I at least o=play a lot more than usual.

This is basically playing Smite 1 hour per day, this is not particularly too much.

Not that I want to defend my 1339 played hours, over 2 years ...

128 hours, but to be fair I've been playing since release in May and it's been summer break for me.

That's actually less than I expected. About 2 hours per day average, since it was released may 24th.

You're roughly 2/5 of overld's total smite time for the year. In 2 months. If only summer vacation never ended, amirite Z?

Ok, nevertheless, I don't think Smite Guru existed before Smite Release.
So, this 1710 hours only means since the time Smire Guru is capturing this.
I'm afraid you have more time spent on this game.

That's not how smite guru works, it's just reporting your stats based on Smite's api, smite itself is what's recording your playtime. (It's possible that smite didn't record that during beta, but rather unlikely).

I don't think so.
Because you can "hide" your stats, meaning your profile won't be accessed via the API.
But when you do so, Smite Guru is still able to show your time played, as of the time you stopped showing your stats.

If the time played was only recorded on Smite, then hiding your profile should prevent Smite Guru to read that information.

Since Smite Guru is still able to show a played time, that means this info is stored somewhere on Smite Guru.
Either Smite Guru is storing it for caching purpose, either they are tracking themselves this information.
