For the past month or so I've been hard at work on my newest guide: A Guide to Making Item Builds
This guide is MASSIVE, the bbcoding and formatting alone took around 2 weeks to get just right. Because of its size, a guide this big is prone to have some errors in some of its sections and descriptions. Thus, I would like to enlist your help to make this the best guide it can be! So go, check it out, hopefully you'll learn some new things and maybe even teach me a thing or two.
Godspeed,
~Zilby
I loved the guide! I think that adding an item comparison section would be a good idea (such as Hastened Fatalis vs Frostbound Hammer, Witchblade vs. Midgardian Mail, etc). In addition, perhaps add a few builds where a specific item is valued (such as Que's Locomotive build, or Incon's Winged Blade rush). However, seeing as these are completely optional, I think that this guide is perfect!
My only problem with a comparisons section is that I could go on comparing every defense item to every other defense item, making this section's size some huge factorial that I don't even want to begin to think about. While there are some items like Hastened Fatalis vs Frostbound Hammer that are particularly comparable, I've tried my best to make it clear in which context one should be used vs the other. As for adding specific builds like that, that's an interesting thought. I should probably mention that you can obtain movement speed through options other than boots/shoes branches, but aside from that I'm not sure I could keep up with it. There's simply too many builds shifting into and out of the meta and keeping all of them up to date would just be a nightmare (eg: the death of the unicorn build). Since this is really a guide to making item builds, rather than trying to stay up to date with all the alternative pro-builds, I'll probably add a section at some point describing some ways to find example builds to gather thoughts from, resources like tiermonster and other such stuff.
Thanks for the advice though, always glad to hear new ideas.
