Alcyone is in my vision a guardian set out to join the battlefield to protect others from the same harm she endured while she was a mortal. Her abilities focus on healing and protecting, while slowing enemies.
PASSIVE
Her passive is a bit goofy, because she is not a fighter, nor did she ever want to be a fighter and this passive plays perfectly in her role as defending other entities from the wrath of the gods.
With this passive she gives others a helpful sustain, but only when they remain close to Alcyone. With this i wanted to create a duo-dynamic where undying love is beneficial, but can also lead to hurt. Staying too close together creates easy targets for enemies.
ABILITY 1
Her first ability is a linear attack like Neith's spirit arrow and is used as her main clear ability, but can be used to slow enemies down that are chasing her allies. Or give the allies a beneficial aspect to chase down enemies.
ABILITY 2
Her second ability is a ground target similar to Skadi's third ability, except that this one does lower damage and freezes enemies to the ground (root). Alcyone can use this ability to stop enemies from chasing her allies. She wants to protect others from the faith she endured and stopping enemies in their track helps her do this.
ABILITY 3
With this ability I give Alcyone the power to further protect her allies. This ability can protect one ally from hard CC or damage with the shield it provides. However, since Alcyone is a self-less goddess. She is unable to use this ability on herself as long as an ally is in range of 50 units.
ULTIMATE
Alcyone uses all of her power to imbue her allies with beneficial powers. She wants to shield others, and her determination to help others has blinded herself to the harm she could cause with her abilities. She hurts enemies and allies when using her ULTIMATE ability, but in reaching her final stage she sees that she is the cause of hurt to her allies and restores part of their live.
With this ability i tried to show what i saw in her as being over-protective and over-attached. Sometimes over-caring can hurt the ones around her, even though this is not intentional, one can never undo all of the harm.
