The annual shift of seasons was none other than the work of the goddess Demeter, though this was not always the case. Long ago, man mastered control of the land, tilling it year-round and ammasing wonderous cities. Thus, Demeter blessed the world with her daughter Persephone. She was as lovely as freshly bloomed flowers. Although when Hades, Lord of the Dead, abducted Persephone, a mother's rage was felt worldwide.
Crops started failing and the crippling withering of fertility worldwide caused mankind to drop dead like flies at winter: the world started to die. It was through her grand journey to recover Persephone, she discovered the Eleusinian Mysteries. Though even with this, she felt as if the world has gone cold on her: a mother's journey left neglected in a world of selfish daughters and cruel kings.
Though she lost her daughter to the depths of Hades, she continues her annual culling of the seasons. Yearly, she loses her daughter, yet yearly she also reaps for the Harvest Season. Yet this year, she will reap the very gods who took her daughter away from her.
Passive Ability
HARVEST SEASON
CERES deals a bonus +10% Physical Power damage to enemies that are healing, or have recently healed within 5 seconds.
Additionally, damaging enemies below 50% Health heals Ceres for 8% of Damage done.

GOLDEN SCYTHE
ACTIVE: CERES throws out a spinning scythe that deals 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 (+75% PP) damage to enemies. When hitting the maximum range or hitting a wall, the scythe returns to CERES' current location, dealing damage to enemies on the way back.
Enemies hit twice receive 50% less damage on their second hit.
ABILITY: PROJECTILE DISTANCE: MAX. 40 UNITS AREA: 15 UNITS COST: 70 MANA COOLDOWN: 15/14/13/12/11 sec

CULL
ACTIVE: CERES performs an overhead strike with her scythes, dealing 75 / 105 / 135 / 165 / 195 (+65% PP) in an area in front of her, as well as executingenemy minions below a 30% health threshold.
Executing enemies this way refunds the cooldown of this ability.
She stops at the first enemy god hit, knocking them behind her, rooting them for 0.85 / 1.00 / 1.15 / 1.30 / 1.45 Seconds, but also healing them for 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 (+5% PP).

SEASONAL SHIFT
CERES changes the season of a huge area around her. Enemies inside the area are dealt damage over time equal to 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3% per 0.85 seconds of their maximum health. This area lasts for 10 seconds. After the area expires, all gods, enemy or ally, are healed for 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 (+25% PP).
While the area is active, any heals will instead do damage to enemies in the area, and any CC-Immunity becomes a root for 1 second.

Ceres is an assassin that is very potent against gods with high sustain, and has the unique ability to actually heal her enemies. However, as the season shifts, so too will the blessings of the earth. Her damage output is increased against said gods who have recently healed. If they have not healed recently, force them to heal with your ultimate, Seasonal Shift, or your ability Eleusinian Mysteries. Then, finish them up with a serving of Cull and Golden Scythe. Ceres is a team initiator and a finisher: she can initiate team fights with Eleusinian Mysteries or with her Ultimate, or can finish off weakened enemies with her other abilities.
Playing against Demeter, do note that she is dependent on sustainability of enemies to keep up her own sustain. Use this to your advantage: lock her down and kill her before she can have a chance at healing. As mentioned above, she is a finisher or a team initiator, but she can rarely keep up in prolonged fights. Use this to your advantage.

I know this kit doesn't exactly scream "Winter", but seeing as how Ceres inevitably causes winter, that led to me making her kit. Plus, the vibe that I went with was the dark winter where rations are in short supply, so naturally, starvation and hunger will befall those who aren't willing to steal some food from their foes. Ceres promotes that kind of gameplay, fulfilling both roles of a fertility healer goddess, and a death-seeking winter goddess.

WHO IS CERES?
Ceres is the Roman equivalent to Demeter, Goddess of the Harvest and Agriculture. Ceres is an important fertility goddess worshiped mainly among farmers. She is also the protector of the domestic life, and grants longevity to anyone blessed enough to receive her boons. In her most famous story, of losing her daughter Proserpina, she undergoes the journey throughout the lands and lives among the mortals who both respected and feared the power of this harvest goddess.

Ceres comes to SMITE with an interesting point, from a story-position. She cares for Persephone and will follow her to the ends of the earth, which Persephone will use to make her mother her own personal agent on earth. Having lived with the mortals instead of with the Olympians, Ceres has formed a much more communal relationship with her worshipers, as seen in her myth with Tripolemus, founder of modern agriculture. However, she is also torn by her relationship with her sister Hera, and brother Zeus. She owes her life (quite literally) to Zeus. As such, she will be presented as a divine torn between the world her daughter wishes to make, and the world that her sister wishes to keep.

Is the 35 units on the ultimate radius or diameter? Because if its diameter, that would most likely be extremely broken dealing 7% health per tick, roughly 11-12 times. If you hit all of it that is 80% health. That's cool if it does that much damage to a mage or a hunter, because I know Spirit of the Nine Winds can do that, but it certainly won't hurt a tank nearly that bad.
I think you mean radius (as diameter is from one edge to the opposite edge and radius from middle to an edge). And assuming smites normal circle area is considered a radius the ability will be 2.5x that of Entangling Vines. The big question is does it move with her or stay at the cast location. cause if it moves it's totally broken

However, to compensate for this, I have nerfed its damage ticks from 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7% Max HP Dam/0.85 sec to 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 /3% Max HP Dam/0.85 sec. I have also nerfed its radius from 35 units (which is about the size of Cupid's ulti) to just 22 Units (same size as Kuku Whirlwind).
The ultimate does damage but also heals everyone at the end, so I felt I needed to keep the Max HP% damage ticks. Ceres is supposed to be anti-tank, anti-sustain, so with this in mind, I wanted for her damage output to be completely determined by enemy builds/abilities.
That almost feels like it would be underwhelming since at that point, Geb can do more damage in a single hit with his ultimate. I think if you were to meet somewhere in between the old and new damage values, it might feel better especially since you do have to stick to them for 10 seconds to get it all off. I'm also curious how this part works:

Particularly with Something like Stone Shield it doesn't grant CC immunity for any specific duration, it just cleanses in the instant. This is unlike Cleanse, training excercise, and Purification Beads since there is no duration so would it apply to that ability? Alternatively what about things like Moonlit Waltz or Overhead Kick?
Yeah, this is a pretty cool concept, well done. Very interesting to add an enemy healing aspect, which triggers her passive. Also the 2nd ability and refunding CD on executed minions (which allows her to clear camps more quickly and still have the ability available if there's a fight immediately after).
I'm only wondering which healing it includes apart from the obvious healing from abilities.
So how does
-Hp5 boosts/ increased regen from item passives (mostly renewal, and to a lesser extend pots) (as I assume normal hp5 does not trigger it).
-lifesteal
Also cull can become quite broken if utilized well in minion waves.
also dunno how to feel about the power of the ult. 11-12 ticks over 10 is not that much of a problem, however 7% max hp a tick is quite a lot
A similar ability like this already exists within Ah Puch's ability kit, where he stuns an enemy healing when hit by Fleeting Breath. Think of it acting that way, but instead of a stun, Ceres just deals extra damage to them
