Phobos

God of Fear

Phobos, son of Aphrodite and Ares, is the god of fear. Later his name would be used as a root for the word "phobia".

Passive Ability

Rising Terror
Enemy gods who are exposed to Phobos experience a rising sense of fear. Each second that they look at Phobos they gain 1 stack of true fear, culminating in different effects depending on how many stacks they have. Stacks decrease by 1 per second when not exposed to Phobos.

5 stacks- Phobos deals 10% more damage to the god with 7 or more stacks while they are under a fear (cc).

7 stacks- Gods begin to see phantoms of Phobos rush at them from around blind corners with the "running scared" ability, these hallucinations do no damage and are not physically interactive or visible to other players on the same team.

10 stacks- The hallucinations of phobos do 5% of phobos normal damage, but their health bar will falsely report full damage taken. Only the god under this effect can see and interact with these phantoms. These phantoms will most commonly attack the enemy player with the "running scared" ability.

Primary Abilities

Running scared.
Phobos lets out a horrifying scream and charges forward, passing through minions and stopping at the first god struck. Phobos lets forth a blood curdling scream that deals damage in a cone after the charge ends.

Similar to mercury's dash for movement

when Phobos stops his charge he deals 80/120/160/200 +80% of physical power over 1 second, 2 ticks, in a cone about as wide as genesha's ohm.
Panic
Replaces Phobos with a clone similar to sun wukong or morrigan. Giving Phobos a 15% movement speed buff and invisibility for 5 seconds. This clone runs forward, performing the running scared ability.

On contact with an enemy this clone explodes with fear energy. Fearing all enemies nearby for 2 seconds, causing them to run around erratically.

Deals 35% physical power and 30/50/70/90/110 damage, and fears the enemy god for 1/1.2/1.4/1.6/1.6 seconds.
Blood runs cold
For the next 5 seconds, auto attacks made by phobos deal additional damage, slows, and apply 2 stacks of true fear.

Bonus damage is 2/3/4/5/6% of enemy max HP (less effective against monsters/titans etc), increases attack speed 30%, slows enemy god movement by 20% and applies a haste effect to Phobos.

Ultimate Abilities

Fear Itself
Phobos targets an enemy god and moves instantly to them, appearing on whatever side of the god that Phobos has targeted, and facing the enemy god, whilst doing damage.

The enemy god instantly receives 18 stacks of true fear and takes 80% physical power +100/200/300/400 damage. In addition,
the enemy god receives a debuff called "Phobic". Which causes them to see and be attacked by the phantoms of Phobos, en masse, from every direction, for 5 seconds.

How to play Phobos

Hes an assassin, you really want to use him in the jungle, he gets quick clear from his panic and running scared abilities. He is literally a "nightmare" to deal with in the jungle, because any encounter with him may end with you chasing ghosts, or worse, ignoring the real thing and getting ganked.

Running scared and Panic give you some options for ganking and mobility, your ultimate positions you where you want to be, and with your other abilities off cooldown, will likely send the other player running.

As Phobos, you really want to force 1v1's with all but he most staunch warriors, and you want to use your mobility to be everywhere the enemy does not want you do be. Taking their buffs, ganking, and generally being a disruption. Getting your true fear on enemy squishies and the backline, may make them waste their abilities on phantoms, and combines with panic, can make for some interesting play. Most of the gods I make will have to utilize auto attacks in some fashion, because I'm not a big fan of 100% of a god's skill/play coming from kit alone, and I also don't like them sitting around bored while everything is on cooldown.

You can tweak the numbers however you want to make his output more or less. The idea is that he plays like a character from a slasher film. Everywhere you look, startling you, keeping you on your toes. The phantoms along with his 2, make him play really uniquely.
