I love it, I was playing arena was owning so hard then I noticed all the gods where just running into the walls, I thought maybe it was lag or maybe my internet lost connection somehow, well it wasn't lag because all the gods were still running into walls and it wasn't my connection because I was still able to go on the internet in another window.

So I figured oh, its just a dumb smite glitch, it will probably return back to normal in like 25 seconds.

No, I waited 1 minute and nothing happened, so I exited the game and it gave me a deserter penalty.

Don't you just love smite!!!

I wonder if Hi-Rez expects you to wait an unknown time before smite decides to work.
Its probably because of this troll patch

I had that glitch too only I got thrown out after some sec to the log in screen. I thought damn deserter and good will to 0.

Well the weird thing is that that never happened. looks even like the match is deleted out of history (by me and some of teh others in the match (the ones I remebered) none had the match standing on recent matches and it was an normal siege)

I seem to get random 990 during every game I play and 50% of the time it actually kicks me from the game, if I close smite and open it again sometimes I get back into the match but sometimes it kicks me and gives me deserter it's quite annoying.

most of the time you can't get back you need to relog more times. otherwise the game has finished (surrender or beaten). but I have read when you can't get back in you need to quit the game then go to task manager and kill the hipatch service then start the game again. (most likely there will be something wrong what you need to fix by the diagnostics and thing of them and click the restart button and then try to play the game again. then you can get back in. (I read this on a comment on the smite facebook saying this works and tried it)

They should tweak it, I got disconnected due to the power going out and then I got hit with a Deserter for 60 minutes penalty, and it wasn't even my fault.

happened to me a few times as well. they should probably make it so that if your gone for X amount of time then you get the deserter penalty.

on topic: it stinks when that happens. happened to me once when playing ***ult. probably because the server disconnected from your internet or something? like I said before, they should probably make the deserter penalty only if your out for a certain amount of time.
