Vent thread incoming.

So as I've stated in my other threads, I pretty much only play 3v3. Just finished a game that was so annoying. So I've started just playing whatever character I want to, usually I'm always the guy that has to fill the role such as tank or support because nobody else does and just auto-locks, but I'm not that great at either of those roles right now. Unless I choose Ra because Ra is hella easy. I choose my character, wait about 10 or 15 seconds to see if anyone says anything, and if they don't I just lock in.

So I chose Neith and my teammates choose Chronos and Fenrir, we were up against Ullr, Hel and Ymir. Yeah, GG before the game even starts. So we begin, I tell my team I need blue, Chronos says he needs it, he takes it and then when he returns to lane, he dies, RIP my blue buff. What's worse than that? 9/10 times I'm the only person on my team that buys wards, so I don't even have enough to buy blue pots as backup, just in case I don't get mana buff. My good conscience is too strong, so it's always me sacrificing for the good of the team. ):

So my team is pretty average (skill wise), Chronos being overly aggressive, randomly using his ult even though he's near full health, missing stationary archers with his Time Rift. Fenrir uses his ult to pull the tank, not the squishy mage or ADC. The game goes on and surprisingly we weren't doing too bad tbh, I'd like to say I kept my team going. I think it was around 11 minutes, my team instantly agrees to a surrender, so fast that I didn't even see the bar in the top left pop up, I was at the base buying something. I don't know if these guys were partied up and planned it or what, but damn was it annoying, and a complete waste of my time.

Game before that, a Ra takes the blue buff and tells me to take the damage buff. -_- Again, I was Neith.
Not to mention that it seems 90% of players use the auto-buy, so they end up with Meditation/Sprint, I thought HiRez updated this?
There's also no point trying to tell them different, a lot of players are super stubborn and won't even listen if you try to help them.

It's just so frustrating playing with these players, please someone hack my account and make me level 30 already. I still have another 12 or 13 levels of this to endure. ):

Which brings me to a question... Does the pairing match level 30's with each other and then everyone under level 30 is paired? Or do you get players around the same level as you?

I meant the auto-buy system. I thought they updated it to actually be good for new players, and assign items that are actually useful.

Auto-buy? You mean the Recommended items (Not the popular tab )tab right? That's what I think they changed.

Ah, guess I was wrong then. But seriously, the auto-buy needs a serious rework. Giving Meditation/Sprint to every character is just so dumb. Maybe they can implement a feature that will look at how much CC the opponent has and recommend Beads or something like that, until the player can actually realize that for themselves.

If you're having mana problems, why not buy level 1 boots and level 1 item to get transcendance started? I do it all the time as AMC and I hardly get mana issues once I get going. Since you seem to be the only one who grabs wards, you might wanna swap your HP potions out as well since you do have an ability that heals you as well as a leap to escape.

The rest of your problems just sit on a broken matchmaking. When you lose 10 matches in a row on account of being matched up against people far better than you, it turns Smite from a fun game to something frustrating. If you're concerned about stacking up a lot of defeats, I say you should stop playing for a little while. I hear there's a big patch coming on monday, and that might be the actual matchmaking fix among other things.

@Pizzarugi - I never said that I buy health potions ;D But I need mana to use my heal spell, which if I don't get blue buff I won't have any.

My usual build for 3v3 with Neith is Draining Blade and Boots 1. That leaves me with 125 gold, so if I'm feeling extra generous for my team, I'll buy two Wards (one for each side), but usually I'll just buy one to cover the right side in case of invade while we do blue buff. If I only buy one Ward, then I'll buy a blue pot for a little more sustain, since I'm never sure if I'll get blue buff.

Transcendence? My mana problems come solely from my teammates not knowing what buffs go to what God/role. I don't want to build Trans on Neith when I shouldn't have to.
