I want to run SMITE with all setting MAXED and get 60FPS that does not dip below 30FPS even in the most graphical intense team fights. If anyone out there can point me in the direction of the cheapest machine I can get that will preform the way I want, it would be very much appreciated!

Don't quote me on this but - I think you most of all need a strong CPU. Due to SMITE's post-processing and the way it's set up the processor has the most work to do. GPU needs to be up to par too - but it's less leading than the CPU.
That's just my 2 cents.

any quad core processor would do(2.6GHz or more), but I recommend u to hav a solid GPU..for limited budget: if NVidia then atleast 160 or more stream processors (CUDA cores) with GDDR5 ram, if AMD then 600 or more stream processors with GDDR5 ram. Don't go for SLI or CROSSFIRE to start with buy one solid card. Graphic card memory size doesn't matter much 1GB is enough. Also go for cards with least fabrication size less than 32nm.

Note: with antialiasing maxed out not many budget cards can give u sustained 60fps.

Intel i5 CPU, any Nvidia 600 series or higher GPU, 8 GB of RAM. That's all you need. Runs about $500 for that, maybe ~$200-$300 more for the rest of the computer.

I played smite on the older core i3, amd phenom x4 quad core CPU as well as on newer amd octa core FX8320. There is not much difference in performance. GPU is wat u must look at. The initial models of any series both in amd and nvidia r ****. Like nvidia 610, amd 6320, etc are ****py like nothing. In nvidia go for 650(last 2 digits important) or higher models, in amd go for 7750, 8750(last 3 digits important) or higher. System ram is again not tat impprtant, dual channel 8gb is a basic norm these days, and its enough, unless like me u have some ram hungry computations running in the background, then go for 16gb if the budget permits. But 8gb is enough, put that extra money on GPU

Youtube "$400 Pc build gaming" or Youtube "$500 Pc build gaming"

You can run smite on highest or close to high settings with good fps for literally $400-$500, Keep in mind I am saying build your own, that means you put it together like legos which is why you can get it that cheap, if you were to buy an already made computer it would be much more and probably have equal or less performance. Of course I am the type that I do not need "The best" computer or console to play, as long as its close to great or great I will play it.

Just go on youtube, its not that hard to build your own they have videos that show its just like legos, you just plug things in and attach things. Youtube my friend youtube

I'm quoting you on this, because postprocessing has absolutely nothing to do with your CPU, and everything to do with your GPU. Postprocessing is simply the process of effects applied to previously rendered and buffered video data before it travels from your GPU to your monitor, like bloom, HDR, or depth-of-field, hence "post"processing.

Postprocessing seems to only recently become a big deal in Smite, mainly because the new arena map, assault map, and domination classic all use it pretty heavily. The domination map is just plain hard to look at with it on now, no idea why they chose to use such an ugly filter.

A lot of prebuilt computers are just as cheap as if you'd built yourself nowadays. It's something that's come about fairly recently, up until maybe a couple years ago prebuilts were always absurdly expensive. You just have to know where to look and also know what you want in it.

GPU all the way, and its not difficult to install it urself either. If u have a decent processor u can upgrade ur old system rather than getting a new one. That saves money!

Erk, seems like I got it the wrong way around. I usually lecture myself on things when I need it, but since I've had my rig for over 3 years, I guess I really lost touch. ;) Thanks for correcting.
