Today i had nothing to do at work so i decided to do something productive and that was to write down builds for multiple warriors! Then i came to a realization that most of the builds i came up with worked with multiple Gods and then felt like later posting those builds on one of these forums.
then another idea appeared in my head....

What if we created a thread in the Build & Guide discussion forum where we as a community posted our general builds and a small explanation of the play style suited to that build which would work for most gods in a specific class (Assassins,Warriors,Hunters,Mages & Guardians) with each class having a separate thread.

We could then discuss the pros and cons of each build and come up with great builds for beginner and experienced players alike. (I know it will turn into a cluster***k lol but i have not come up with a better idea yet.) Then the next step would be for any titled community member/members "Veterans, Editors or Moderators" to gather the best or favored information and turn them into guides for god classes made buy the community for the community and any who visit!

I know this idea has many flaws and would be a lot of work and will need a lot of upkeep however it is my hope that we as a community can come together and bring ideas to the table to make this or something similar work.

I will start a warrior thread in the Build & Guide discussion forum shortly so we can get an idea on how to set it out and refine it. Even if nothing comes of this i would still like people to post their ideas on the build/guide thread that way if anyone great at making guides wishes so (unlike my self :( ) can make a guide from the information given as long as they ask for the posters permission and give credit when its due.

Anyway sorry for the wall of text and if you made it this far i thank you and look forward to hearing your opinions!

Edit: Also if anybody feels like starting a thread for a different class please feel welcome too!

An interesting idea, would definitely have the advantage of being information agreed on by multiple people rather than the opinions/experience of a single person. I'll have to come back and read this again when I'm not about to pass out. :P

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
