Is it just me or has the percentage of players who bm in smite drastically gone up? I have noticed that over the past couple of months that an influx of "uninstall the game" "lol ***" "ur sh*t" and other slanderous statements have been popping up more than usual. Has is finally happened? have we finally attracted the filthy mouthed cesspit of scum that usually inhabits and trolls LOL players into the game we know and love? or is it just a phase?
we all have our off games, and when it happens I just wish the other players would react in the way they used to, by helping with advice. Anyone else feel the same or am I just acting melodramatic?

One word: Yes.

There has been a rather steady influx of LoL trolls, due to the game rising in popularity. It's an unfortunate series of events (I made a reference there), but for the most part you have two options:

1. Get better

2. Mute the trolls.

You could always do both. Either way, the trolls are going to look for something to insult because that's how they cope with their pitiful lives.

majority of the time it is not me they are trolling, it is the other poor players on my team who just want to have fun, you try and help them out by defending them but it just seems to feed the troll and grant the reply "ur gettin report 4 trollin plus he is gettin report 4 feedin"
can not seem to win.
oh how I wish we had the old foggy forrest,4 jungled friendly playered smite back

Too many trolls in the game. The game was so much better in the past, where trolls where almost non-existent.

Just ignore them. Or piss them off even more.

God dammit you never, EVER, feed the trolls! That is the worst thing you can do. Instead, just tell the person to mute them. They trolls are just trying to make someone feel like **** to feel better about themselves, which some of them are actually good at but that depends on how weak their victim is.

In other words... just mute them. It's that easy. You either have a bad game because they're trolls, or a maybe bad game because of lack of communication. That's their fault.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
