Has anyone else been experiencing some bad ping/lag?

Its just that for the past two days I've been having some major problems with it, where I'll enter into a match but once minions spawn my ping goes from a decent amount to horrendously high, and alternates between decent and high amounts for the rest of the match.

I mentioned this in a thread on the official forums, and one of the moderators said it wasn't just Hi-Rez games experiencing this, and gave me a link to the LoL Reddit where there are a couple of threads over the issues as well.

yeah, last night I had 30 ping and yet I had huge lag spikes at times

Not really, I do lag and when I lag its at the most BS moments.
I do not even lie, if I was to get ****ped on by someone in smite I wouldn't make an excuse, if anything I would just talk trash but never would I blame my death on lag, I would rather blame it on my team or something :D

But seriously, the ONLY time I lag is literally when I am in the middle of fighting, I can promise you that 99% of the time I never lag when playing smite, and I never lag when I am out of battle attacking minions.

Its only that 1% and once I start fighting someone that smite wants to lag and get me killed.

I wish my laptop could run a capture card so I could show you how rigged the lag is, it literally only lags once I start fighting someone, now it doesn't lag much.

Even when I am fighting someone it usually never lags, I am just pointing out that when smite does happen to lag for me at least, its only when I am in the middle of fighting.

I have had this BS happening to me though

I have been getting kicked out of games for no reason at all, I was playing with people on the forum in domination, we were winning then all of a sudden I got kicked out of the game and got a ******ed 30 minute penalty while they got to play games!!!

I wasn't even lagging or nothing, it just kicked me out for no good reason.
Best part I pay for it and have to wait 30 minutes...

I was saying I wouldn't blame my death on lag if I didn't lag, when I do lag and die you better believe I am blaming that **** on lag because when I die by lag I want it known why I was attacking the wall next to me and missed my ability because smite decided to lag right as I was casting a move.
