So I've been having trouble trying to figure out how to add a webm video of an appropriate size within a spoiler which is in itself within a spoiler.

My problem first arises after clicking the first spoiler. (I have noted that this only happens after the first time the spoiler is clicked).
Example

You can see that the second spoiler automatically opens after clicking the first one! Does anyone know how to change this?

Secondly, is there any way to change the size of a webm video? I know how to do autoplay and such, but size eludes me (I have tried height="300" width="500").

This is too big

As far as I know, there is no way to work around both the problems that you have mentioned. However, they would be great things to add into the code.

I've never wondered about the spoiler thing - good find. I have tried to resize webms but unfortunately, no luck. It is dependent on the size of the webm that is linked. It should be possible to add in a way to resize them or resize them though, obviously Hi-Rez has done it with their Dev Insight's page.

Thanks for the quick response :)
I actually looked at hirez's ssh code for their dev insight and it seemed rather simple to implement. Worst case scenario I can always convert them to .gifs and deal with them like that but that's rather tedious. As for the spoilers that kinda sucks, not sure how to find a workaround for those :[

Hi Zilby,

Yes, I also came across that issue about the spoilers. Anything within that first spoiler tells everything else within it to expand, so as far as I know, there's unfortunately no way to really do that spoiler-in-spoiler view.

I agree...it'd be nice if it didn't do that. Just have to get creative on how to present your information the best way, with that limitation.

For what it's worth, you could always use something like Cloudinary to convert and resize them to circumvent the lack of a resizing code. It's a bit of a pain, though - I think you have to convert it to a gif, resize it, then convert it back to webm. Here's a bit about it on their site.

Also, you can reduce the code a little bit too.
Code:
[webm autoplay loop url=https://account.hirezstudios.com/dev-insight/bellona-1.webm]

Open
