So today's my first day playing smite since the new patch.

I went on an unbelievable heater in arena, winning 15 straight matches. I never joined any game as a premade team (never have, still making friends heh).

Anyways, I have to chalk it up to what is probably the new matchmaking system. I didn't run into absolute newbs in my group, found tanks and players who would switchup strategies and coordinate. I am lvl 30, and I think prior it might have been forcing me to team with absolute beginners to even things out??? I don't know, but if you see my overall record, 15 straight wins is an extreme outlier for me.

Had a few epic games though, one 4v5, and another 3v5 due to disconnects (or rage quitting). But overall i noticed i was getting far fewer absolute beginners or fail teammates (albeit some still quite annoying ones). Anyone else?

SmiteFire & Smite
