Saw a Bacchus last game. He had soul eater and fatalis lol.
Is that weird or a considered build?

Well that bacchus was the enemy. They had another tank so he went... phy? XD

Seriously. He had some tank items but the only weird thing was those 2. Both don't give phy attack so he can have them... At the end of the game no one was complaining about his build... XD

Yes Blissey1, magical gods are not able to buy physical items anymore. This has been around for a while now. Not sure what MadDanny encountered if it's true, maybe a bug? Or perhaps he/she haven't been playing SMITE in a long time. :d

Eh, it definitely is out of the norm, but I can definitely see the item working with him. It's not like he bought a Winged Wand and a Rage.

Soul Eater gives Physical Lifesteal. That stat is completely useless on Bacchus ever since he got converted to pure magical. This leaves only the HP and attack speed to gain from it, both of which could be gotten from far better items.

Also, don't knock the Winged Wand, it's become a much better item ever since it got those buffs. <.<



My guess is that Bacchus was able to buy a Soul Eater because currently, item purchasing only disables items that have the power stat your god doesn't use. Soul Eater IS a Physical item, but it doesn't give Physical Power. Hence, it can be bought by anyone.
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
