So I main Xbalanque and Anubis, and do pretty well in the laning phase consistently, but after that, i get a little confused on what i am supposed to be doing. i know the basics im not a noob or anything, but i feel like my game is suffering because im not clear on exactly how it goes. Am i supposed to push towers, go straight into team fights, or what? Any tips or guidance appreciated. thanks

A few things can be done.

1. Objectives and Buffs:
By getting extra gold for yourself and your team through jungle buffs, Gold Fury, Fire Giant and towers, it will further your lead and help with team fights.
2. Roam:
Roam around in the jungle and try to pick off any stragglers. You can also pick up buffs while doing so.
3. Split Push:
While your team fights, you can go to a lane to try and push down turrets. This will either do 1 of 2 things. First, it will cause enemies to focus you and gank you, making them low on numbers for team fights. Also, it will give your team some more towers being pushed down if the enemy does not respond.
4. Gank split pushers:
While the enemy may be split pushing, if they do not do it while they are being unnoticed, then they will be picked off and killed.
5. Team push:
Push with your team to help get down towers.
6. Team fight:
Move with your team and try to engage the enemy.
7. Defend:
Simply defend if the enemy team decides to push as a team.

Gold Fury and Fire Giant give gold to the whole team, no matter whether they participate or not.

However, jungle buffs give 75g a kill and is shared with the people that helped. The little creeps give 15g each.
The miniature gold furies (I'd like to say harpies but not sure) give 12g (I'm not too sure about this value) a kill and the big one gives 52g.
Towers give gold to the whole team, no matter if they participate or not.

And after you do all that was stated above, Push your towers and keep farming their team. Stay Passive/Defensive if you have the upper-hand. Playing defensively will slowly pay off a guaranteed win.

Well what I do is obviously try to win the lane first.
Once the enemy returns to base and I have a chance to attack their tower thats when I start looking around. If I think I am going to get ganked I will just return to base myself or camp back and farm minions.

Most of the time I try to attack their tower then return to base.
usually this makes everyone focus on my lane to help their team mate out.

I will go for buffs and while I am getting buffs if I see a good gank I will try to gank and let my team mates know what move I plan on doing so they can do a move that may slow them, trap them, ect.

I usually just push my own lane unless my team really needs help.
I would say as long as your team mates are holding off well just keep pushing your own lane this way the other lanes will be forced to help their team mate out which will leave the other lanes open.

The #1 thing I like to do is make them pay for leaving a lane. If someone leaves a lane I will just attack their tower instead of helping my team mates some times. If they want to keep leaving their lanes I will take advantage and take their towers.

If I see 4 people in one lane in might just be best to take some towers down instead of helping on the fight. I mean you win either way I guess, on one hand you can help your team in a team fight OR POSSIBLY LOSE IT. On the other hand you are guaranteed a tower or two since everyone else is not in their lanes.

This is what I usually do
1 : fight my lane
2 : go for buffs/farm minions while the enemy is dead or just attack tower
3 : If I choose to get a buff I will most likely gank since I am already near the other lanes
4: If I attack the tower I will watch out for a gank.
5 : return to my own base right as I see the enemy coming back to his tower this way I have time to get to my own tower along with get more items.

It all comes down to judgement and what you feel is best at the moment.
Don't waste your time saving a tower that is already dead.
The best example is in domination, you will see 5 gods attacking your right tower, all of your team mates will be stupid and go try to defend that tower when they have no chance of stopping it from being over taken.

Don't waste time on towers that are pretty much done for, your best off saving time and taking other towers knowing they will take at least 15 seconds to even defend their towers since they are so far away.
