His yawn effect last for a long time, is there negatives to why it last so long?

It's a mez so once an enemy gets hit by an attack they can start moving around again.

No. It's a mesmerize. Meaning it can range anywhere from .1s to the full 3.5 seconds, depending on if they get hit or not.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
