This may be a stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. Please don't hate me or anything if this is really obvious. My question is, do all melee gods in Smite have the same range on their melee attacks? It just seems like to me that gods like Loki and Sun Wukong can hit people with auto attacks standing further away than people like Guan Yu or Thor. Is this actually true, or is it just me? Thanks.

guanyu can hit further with his chain swing I think... It seems like ne zha has to be super close to hit.. don't know if its the case but it always seems like it

Not true, but not just you. Mechanically speaking, all melee gods have the exact same basic attack range, but it really doesn't feel like it to me.

I swear DIFF hit boxes for DIFF melee gods...

because when I play hercules It feels like I can hit from far away with his big club and ne zha well its almost like your never getting hits off no matter how close you are

That's stupid. Guan Yu wields a huge spear(?), Loki has two little daggers. Still the same basic attack range ^^.

It's just the aesthetics. It LOOKS like your hitting far but really it's all the same. Dam Hi-Rez for making it like that. Especially for those with big weapons. Fooling us with that model but in reality your not hitting ****.

That makes a lot of sense, actually. Whenever I play Guan Yu, I feel like I'm not hitting people I should (considering he has like a giant halberd or whatever). And whenever I play Loki, I feel like I can hit people out of my range (considering he has little daggers). I guess I'll just have to get used to it.

Guan Yu's weapon is a style of halberd, to clear things up.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
