Smite's newly revamped website (Smitegame.com) was just released.

What are all of your thoughts and opinions? Personally I think it looks great, and just moving through it feels very nuanced and smooth.

It looks nice but that white background by the news is horrible. It always had a darker colour and now only the top and the bottom have it. they should just have made the news also something darker

well let's say I visit SF first in the middle of the night no light in the room on etc and then go to the smite website.

Your first reaction will be:
AWH MY EYES IT BURNS

That's what white has done to me several times but with the difference of me having a light on in my room.

And sometiems a white background works but then make the whole background white not only the center and leave the top and bottom the standard dark blue

(Also is black a less energy consuming colour for your pc screen because the spots where it's black the lamps that make the pixels are out.)

tell me how to do this as my pc screen only has an on/off button

And with google or youtube or FF new tab screen I don't have this problem

It would look better with the grey from the top to transcend to the bottom where the white is.

The reason why (INSERTFIREHERE)Fire doesn't use pure white text is because it is easier to read a little gray shaded text and it doesn't irritate eyes in the long run. Same with the background. White background makes your eyes hurt easier than dark background.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
