So everyone knows what I mean with this. I'm not going to ask about how to prevent it or come back from it (which is hard but possible). No my questions are about what happens when you manage to kill the snowballing person. What is the comeback mechanic behind this.

the reason I started questioning this is because of dota's comeback mechanic (playing it a lot and the new patch is snowball themed). As when you kill a snowballing player you will get a lot of money (really a lot last game we were snowballing so hard and our snowballer died dropping a 1600 gold to the killer I don;t know the amount the other players got as I didn't see the amount of players around (as you get AoE bonus as assist and this depends on other people) (normal amount from a kill is 200-300 gold based on how much your carrying also) but it also gives the other team increased xp as normally you will get 2-3 lvls from killing a big snowballing player.

I believe in smite you get more gold from the snowballer kill like in LoL (I haven't looked a lot at this in both games). But imo that isn't a super good comeback mechanic as well you can buy maybe one tier of an upgrade which normally isn't enough to keep coming back. And you off course have the increased death timer (all 3 moba's btw depending on bloodstone in dota).

So my question is what's the full comeback mechanic from killing a snowballer in smite. did I have all points or did I miss something? And also how would you want to see/change the mechanic?

It's an interesting idea that really change the meta, games, and future championships if possible. I'm not sure if Smite or LoL are going to do this but i think it can drastically change the game and the victor's would be easily found if this mechanic was introduced into the game.

There is none lol... That's why there's so much snowball and you see f6's at 10 in every other casual game. I mean you could consider the FG / GF as come back mechanics but that's counter-intuitive since the more a team is ahead, the less likely (almost exponentially) is that the other team can pressure the GF / FG.

there is a reason why dota is called the game of the comeback.

well there is one but IMO you don't notice it that big as in dota (where the huge gold drop is also because when you die you lose money but the lvl/xp drop is what makes the difference imo as it gives you more damage and a bit more survivability)
