What happened to Ra?

Let me explain:
Not too long ago Ra was first pick material for the solo lane OR mid lane. But now, I hear a lot of people tell he is not that good. So, can someone explain me what happened? Was he nerfed? What changed?

Honestly it all comes down to flavor of the month, gods come in and out of favor... It just depends on who the pros are playng

I still play ra regularly. He's great.

Ra is still strong (had a minor nerf to his heal i believe). but yeah I noticed it too he is still strong but a lot of people don't use him as in mid lane you got stronger bustier champs and solo is ( I have no idea how) dominated by warrior's again
