Alright, so I downloaded Smite around Late Feb. early March, at that time I had no fps trouble while running on all settings 'Low'. I took a break from Smite in the middle of June and then started back up today. Now, my fps is terrible, like 4-5 frames per second. I was wondering if Hi-Rez ups the required specs with each update. I run it on an HP Envy Dv6 (I know, not a good gaming laptop.) I should also add that I have Minecraft, LoL, and a few free Steam shooters. I don't know what the problem is but I'm guessing it's that I'm running out of storage and that's causing the lowered fps? (I didn't have LoL until today as well) Any help is welcome! Thanks in advance!

that's one possibility also running a lot on the background can be bad for your fps.

Maybe something in the option has changed to too high reducing it. But high chance it's the runnign out of space

You can try opening the task manager and changing Smite's priority to Above Normal or even High if you want.

You can also download Razer game booster, that seems to help me.

I did the Razer booster and my LoL fps went up like 40, so yeah... THANKS!

No problem. :)

But anyway, if that's the case, then it probably means you have background programs bogging you down, because what Gamebooster does is it closes out unnecessary programs. So I'm guessing you have something running in the background that you may not know about that's hurting your FPS.

Not sure if you already knew this, but on laptops if you look usually at the bottom right of your screen there is a battery, if you click on the battery it will let you switch your computer to HIGH PERFORMANCE, some people don't know this and it makes a huge difference, if your playing without your computer on HIGH PERFORMANCE then ya, you might wanna switch that.

Is it this? If so, you should definitely not be getting that many frames on Smite. Try cleaning out your PC, game boosters, changing priorities in task manager, and allocating more RAM to SMITE.

Definitely try uninstalling any unneeded programs that you have (assuming that you do). Because an a-8 4500m quad core proc + AMD Radeon HD 7640G should be getting decent frames. Check your SMITE video settings as well.
