How do editors work on DOTAFire? Is it the same as MOBA, promotion by rep? Because a few editors on DOTAFire I notice have like 2 or 3 rep.

No, we get promoted by activity, contribution, and by the quality of our posts.

DOTAFire is still growing, and the game's not actually out yet (though anyone can buy a beta key now), so it isn't buzzing like MOBAFire. For now on DOTAFire we are just manually promoting, no automatic stuff. If someone has been around for a while and expresses interest in contributing we'll promote them. It will be the same way here until the community grows :)

I wouldn't mind being an Editor for Smitefire atm, but I wouldn't be comfortable with doing anything else since I can't play the game enough to really give great knowledge on it :P

Still, editing the database wouldn't be hard if you were looking for people (not sure if you are) xp

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
