I'm not biased towards either version, and I prefer not having to read while watching. Typically, though, I do watch subs, but have you heard Nagi's dad in the dub? liek omg

Anime has never managed to make me cry no matter how sad, thus far, episode 6 of Kodomo no Jikan is the closest I've ever gotten.

That didn't make you cry?

You're one stone-cold mountain, dood.
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

Did it make you cry? This is one of those animes that can make you laugh and make you cry. I really enjoy it, I've watched the series twice, and I'm working on reading the manga a second time right now. If you haven't read the manga yet, you definitely should, the story is expanded by a lot in the manga, the manga goes for like 8 years, the anime is missing a lot of stuff that happened in the manga. For example, the last episode of Kodomo no Jikan is like 60 chapters far in the manga (hopefully you know what I mean by that), but they skipped a lot of things that happened in between that last episode, and the first chapter of the manga, but I'm not going to spoil anything for the people who haven't read it or watched it yet.

I try not to be biased, but from my experiences, it always seems more enjoyable in Japanese.
Also, I haven't seen the dubbed version at all.

I suggest you guys should try out Hyperdimension Lesbians. The anime's actually pretty good.

Short too.

Oh, believe me. If you haven't seen Clannad:AS, you will cry. Both tears of sadness and joy will be shed. That's pretty amazing for an anime.

Only other one that has managed to do this for me is Natsume Yuujinchou (favourite series of all time), which is incredibly underrated and actually an amazing anime that everyone should watch.

Haven't seen After Stories yet, but I was planning on it.

I hate it when an anime series is short because then I start to miss the characters when I'm done with it, this normally means I'll just read/watch the series again.

Okay then. Well, the Clannad movie is awful. The anime was amazing, but Jesus Christ, the movie is a joke.
I'll definitely be watching the anime again, though.

It didn't help that they seemed determined to confine this series to a single season, meaning they tried to cram too much into too few episodes to begin with. Still a decent adaptation though it pales in comparison to say, Dangan Ronpa, which was airing around the same time.

I finished Toradora, and I just wasn't happy at all with the ending. I know it was meant to be sad in the fact that...

Spoiler: Click to view

But it was done really poorly. It's meant to be sad, but really, you just felt ****ty and disappointed. Not sad, disappointed that THIS is how it ends.

Anyway, I'm watching Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga ****ai right now, and it is VERY promising. I'm already excited for the second season.
