I get this error in the chat whenever I try to join any game mode, including custom games, and except for games where you fight against AI. It gets hung up on the loading screen for 1-2 minutes, sends me to lobby with a black background, and displays "Was unable to change to requested map" in the chat box. I ran the Hi-Rez diagnostic tool and that didn't help. I submitted a ticket to HiRez and they told me to install the latest DirectX, but that didn't solve my problem. I also reinstalled the pre-requisites. How can I fix this?

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
