Issues with Updated Guide (reverting)

So I went to update my guide, and I noticed something very strange. When I'm logged onto the site my guide displays correctly, but if I'm logged out/viewing it on my phone then the site automatically displays the original version. I've made a lot of edits since I first published my guide, and will continue to do so, but I don't want it to display incorrectly for new users. Any ideas what's going on? Did I just do something really dumb?

Have you pressed both the save AND publish button?

The functionality of these buttons aren't entirely clear.

The "SAVE" button saves the guide for YOU ONLY. This way, you can save a guide you're working on and continue to make edits later, but others won't see the changes yet.

The "PUBLISH" button saves the guide for EVERYONE. You have to press "publish" EVERY TIME YOU CHANGE SOMETHING and want the general public to see it.

I did this same mistake before. I know how you feel.

It really should be clearer how those buttons function.

It was solid in the form we read, which is a credit to you. If you tried to update after the contest closed, I would have docked points in my own scoring.
