This build is to maximize power first and then raise attack speed, while not worrying about lifesteal. (Adding some attack speed in the middle helps out a lot.)
These are the items you should start for all of your games. This works well with both Conquest and Joust, and the extra attack speed helps when you build your core power items.
The strategy behind this build to maximize as much power as you can while also maximizing your attack speed without trying to overcap it. Getting Transcendence and Warrior Tabi as soon as possible already will give you over 100 power in the early game.
Adding some attack speed in your third slot will go a long way, especially for ability based/lower attack speed gods like Anhur and Ullr. Item most preferred with Odysseus' Bow because it also will scale with the power you will get and you get 40% attack speed as soon as it's tier 3.
We add Soul Eater after Odysseus' Bow in order to get a tiny bit of lifesteal and get even more power. Soul Eater is the fasting stacking item in the game and you'll quickly evolve it to get 60 more power out of it.
The last items should be focused on attack speed items, but The Crusher will take advantage of your enormous power by that point in the game. Together, Odysseus' Bow will use +50% of your basic attack to nearby enemies, and The Crusher will add 15% of your power as DOT.
By the end of it, Anhur should reach about 260 power and about 1.97 attack speed. Other gods will go beyond 2.0 attack speed, but this is because Anhur throws spears a bit slower but in exchange has extra penetration through his passive.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
