When you are going for a kill in lane, chain the god first, then use the shard and auto them once, then chain again a couple times and then light them up. This will steal a good bit of those early game protections and it will allow you and the carry to deal close to true damage to whoever you're targeting.
This build provides great aura buffs to allies while still allowing you to deal a ton of damage as a tank. With your 2 active, you will give all 4 of your allies 86 of each protections, 45 HP5, 30% CCR, 30% attack speed, 20 physical power and 10% physical lifesteal, and 30 magical power and 12% magical lifesteal. Busted right? If only one ally is beside you, you will give them 110 protections. This will make you and your allies pretty tanky and a bit more vampiric. You are super-buffing your allies with this build. If it is just you and your hunter, they will have close to 200 of each protection, capped attack speed if they don't already have it, 30% CCR, 10% more lifesteal, and 20 extra power. If that hunter isn't able to survive with those kinds of buffs, then you're surrounded by the entire enemy team or they're just bad. With your 2 active, this build will give you capped physical protection, almost capped magical protection, capped CCR, capped CDR, 3800 Health (A bit over 4K with the support buff), 66 HP5, 24% lifesteal, and 220 magical power. Those are quite the stats for a tank. When you are stacking the Prophetic Cloak, keep an eye on the cooldown in between dealing damage. You want to try and damage an enemy god whenever that cooldown is done, but don't try to if it's too risky of course. Just try to optimize how fast you are stacking it. The Relic Dagger Passive will allow you to get blink ults more often in the late game. When you have your blink upgraded, try to land in the fire when you are done ulting. Just so you can deal that extra true damage while they're stunned in it.
If you need anti-heal (Most of the time you will) then go Contagion instead of Emperor's Armor. If you are getting wrecked by crit then go Spectral Armor instead of Emperor's Armor. If you find it hard to fully stack the Prophetic Cloak after a few games, go Gauntlet of Thebes instead. If you have healers on your team and no one else built Caduceus Club or Rod of Asclepius, then go Rod of Asclepius instead of Relic Dagger. This item will give you extra power, health, and movement speed and it is an aura item which means 30 extra power for you. This item also counts as anti-anti-heal so an item like Divine Ruin would only anti-heal for 20% instead of 40%. If someone else already built Shogun's Kusari, then go Amulet of Silence. You don't need the Stronghold glyph because you'll be tanky enough once you are full build. Use the Amulet of Silence passive wisely during fights. Try and hit someone who does good burst ability damage or someone with good CC abilities.
If you need an Ankh or Sundering Spear for hyper healers and shielders like Anubis and Nike, go blink first then Ankh or Sunder second. Don't upgrade your relics until you have all of your items. Upgrading the blink into a greater blink when you can is a good thing to do so can have blink ultimates more often.
