Here is a short list of tips and tricks you can use in order to utilize Artio's full potential as a Solo laner.
1: Swapping forms. Familiarize yourself with your abilities and try to match them best to counter enemies. If played correctly Artio is easily one of the most annoying gods to try and deal with. Know when to use your heals and when to apply some slows and CC on enemies. Diminishing gaps for enemies to escape is countered by Artio's charge, stun and cripple. Using her abilities in the right places will make enemies smash that F6 button.
2: Solo laning: Artio has strong sustain and can stay in the boxing match for a while. Wait to use your druid 1 and instead try and swipe the front minions along with the enemy solo laner and drag them to the archers. This will group them up utilizing your effectiveness of Vampiric Shroud and clearing faster in general. Fighting in wave is usually fine as long as you have a heal ready or on short cooldown.
3: Late game. Artio struggles late game going 1v1 against an ADC or a mage with high penetration, especially if their relics are active. The only way for Artio to be effective against these players is create openings for your backline to kill theirs. Use your druid 3 to try and root them from afar to attempt to burn their beads. Find spots in team fights to cripple movement reliant characters and stun those who become venerable as a result. Whatever you do, DO NOT try and box an ADC solo.
