Introduction

Hello random stranger. I'm Sh33pOfDoom and this is my first Smite guide (any constructive feedback would be appreciated.) This is a guide to Bakasura, my favorite God in Smite (though technically he's a demon, not a God).
This guide is for conquest, where I think he really shines as the ultimate assassin.
So let's begin :)

Pros / Cons

Pros:
-High mobility
-High single God damage
-Amazing ganker
-Has escapes
-Great jungler
-Amazing mid game
-Great lane and tower pusher mid-late game

Cons:
-Squishy
-Early game relise on Dmg Buff
-Not very good laner
-Weak early game
-Bad initiator
-Not great at team fights
-Mana problems early game
-Early game needs Speed buff to catch Gods
-Must have two Gods capable of Solo laning, since the whole first part of the game you will be jungling.

Skills

(1)
Your bread and butter ganking/escaping skill. Can jump over walls. Early game use to escape through the jungle if things get tricky, or gank through the wall (they won't see you coming, that's for sure!). Also weakens enemies caught in the jump, which is nice

(2)
The base of your jungling prowess, insta kills creeps (except for camp bosses), gives protection buff for escape (e.g. eat a minion while running) and heals. Use whenever you can, (if you enter a team battle make sure it's ready to heal you if you need it). Also strengthens your Ult (which is why you should try consuming camp bosses when you can).

(3)
This is how you do insane damage. Gives you physical dmg buff and True damage buff, which makes you do insane damage per attack (which is why you need alot of attack speed). Use whenever you attack a God or a tower for extreme killing power.

(4)
This Ult has two uses:
-The first, and better use, is to secure a kill (or two), it slows enemies, the creeps attack and block enemies and it gives you a cone attack which makes it easier to kill those puny Gods.
-The second is as an escape. As before it slows enemies and blocks them, plus it gives you cc immunity so you can escape (but I suggest you keep it for murder).

Items

Starter Items:
Choose one of the actives (I prefer meditation becausei it solves your early game mana problems, though the other two make it easier to catch gods early game) - you do not need to level HotG up ever, and neither should you lvl up Meditation.
Gives you your basic lifesteal to survive early jungling.
Realy helps taking care of creep camps early game, so that you can gain a lvl edge on enemy team.
Gives you that speed you need to catch up to the runaways, plus a little CDR is always helpful.
Gives you damage and lifesteal, for sustainability and better jungling. Complete first for ability.
Amazing item. gives much needed speed, reversing is no longer an issue plus gives really good attack speed. A no brainer.
Makes you a real killer. the damage and attack speed is nice. But the crit is invincable. Get when you can.
Gives you great damage and attack speed, also your only semi defensive item. Get before Rage if you need the health.

Situational items:
You can get this instead of Devourers gloves, for the damage.
Can be bought if game drags on instead of Death's Toll (depends if you need extra damage, or if you want to slow them so they don't escape.)

Raoming, Ganking & Jungling - How to play Baka

Stage 1 (lvl 1-4) - Welcome to the Jungle:
At start of game go straight to damage buff, next to right lane (vey important for your jungling), use HotG to clear the camp then swallow the camp boss. Proceed to help anyone, more important for one of the two solo laners, to get the mana buff. Try to get buffs for allies if they need them, and try to kill as many gold harpies as you can so you deny any attempt of the enemy team to jungle.
Before lvl 5 try to not engage in combat (unless at lvl 4 you see a lower level god with little health you can gank or scare off. But be careful! Dying this early is very bad.
Stage 2 (lvl 5-13) Start killing:
If you've jungled correctly than you should be level 5 before most of the other teams gods (except for the mid laner). Keep leveling up by jungling but feel free to help out with the lane once in a while.
Most importantly this is when you should start ganking (jump from the jungle, use ult and buff - commence murder). Target Gods that are already on less than 50% health, or 30% if they're tanks. Try killing those non mobile squishy hero's if you can.
Stage 3 (lvl 14-20) Ending this:
By now you should have some kills. This is the part where you only jungle on your way to other things, or if you want a buff (the jungle is still a great place to gank from).* at this stage you can clear by yourself with ease whole waves of minions. Try to do this when all the other Gods are engaged in some team battle to sneak destroy a tower. Clear all enemy creeps in a lane (before they meet your minions) and then when your minios reach the tower use damage buff to very quickly destroy it. Then get out of there. Watch the map to see if any enemies might be coming your way. If you enter a team fight try to kill stragglers and not to just jump into the fray of combat. Remember: You are Squishy!
*This is when you should start targeting the Fire Giant and Gold Fury

Jungle Buffs

Mana Buff: Useless. Dont ever take it, leave it for your allies. You Do Not need it.

Speed buff: Take whenever there is no available Damage buff, or if you feel like it will help you more than the damage buff. Is good for getting quickly from camp to camp, for getting quickly to team battles, for chasing, for escaping and for ganking effectively.

Damage Buff: Your best friend. Always great for that last bit of damage you needed. A must for the start of the game. Take whenever you can.

Gold Fury & Fire Giant

Try to kill whenever you can (after you reach level 14 of course), for the money, amazing buffm and of course to deny theo ther team the glory of it all!.
You cant realy solo this, since you cant survive all the damage, but one very good support and anyone else, or one very tanky god is enough to get the kill since you can dish out so much samage so quickly (plus HotG instakills them when they reach very low health.)

Summary

This should cover everthing, will try to update in the future. Hope you enjoy playing as the mighty Bakasura!!!
