I like Heartseeker because it is strong, has pen, high mana that adds to your power from Transcendence's passive and does bonus damage to tanks. Titan's bane because of the sheer force of its full penetration w/ passive, and bloodforge because you will be getting so many kills, the shield it provides will feel almost permanent (lol) also, it's movement speed buff works well with Bastet's passive to chase down enemies for that final kill.
Always max your 2 first with her, the damage over time even at base level is her strongest ability and can solidify a kill from either a camp, objective, or enemy. Use your jump smart--it is very powerful but it is also your only escape. It helps that you can bounce back from your initial spot with it too (all around juke frenzy champion '93)
This is the build I have had much success using since last season (minus bluestone of course). More or less, this build is gonna have tons of pen, power, and cooldown. Cooldown is important especially when you are in the middle of your ultimate. Without at least 20% CDR, you can't spam another ability after you fire off your combo (I initiate my ult then follow up with my 3, then my 2, and if they are out of escapes, i finish it with my 1).
ALSO, This build has tons of bleed damage. Bastet's 2 has a huge damage over time effect, now when you combine that with the DOT from Crusher AND Evolved Bluestone....your enemies will have tons of numbers popping off as their health quickly drains away.
That said, I start Bastet with Bluestone and T1 transcendence. You will have good MP5 starting off so I also get 2 multi pots for extra sustain. After clearing Yellow, jung camps, and blue buff for solo, go into middle lane to aid mid. Depending on who enemy mid and jungle is can decide if the team fight here is worth it-if not just go to one of the mid camps or help grab red buff for your mid.
At this point I check for any gank opportunities in duo lane, if none then I farm closer to my speed buff to grab it again before venturing out.
The order of this build is as follows:
bluestone-t1 transcendence-WARRIOR TABI-FULL TRANSCENDENCE-JOTUNN'S WRATH-CRUSHER-then either heart seeker or Titans bane (brawler's for anti heal)-Bluestone Brooch
After your build is full leveled out, I would sell my boots for either heart seeker, titans bane, or Bloodforge.
Again, this build works for me and 8/10 times I get over 15 kills with few deaths with Bastet (on try hard mode it's over the 20+ mark). The only way they can counter the intense burst damage is if they perfectly Aegis at the start of your combo or if they have High CC. Even if they have high life steal like Anubis or Hades, it is important to keep an eye out because those two can smite you with one of their abilities (see what I did there?)
Max out your 2 first, then your 1, your 4, then 3. I put points into my ult when able to so I can get as much bonus damage out as possible.
As you can see, the sustain is not really there until late game when you get bloodforge. Her job is solely IN AND OUT. Don't stay too long because you really dont have a way of healing (unless you went soul eater which is fine, but you miss out on power).
This is my first entry/build on SmiteFire-open to any comments and critiques. Hope this works out for you as well as it does for me, good luck and go get em!

Bluestone procs will allow you to poke an enemy/lane and walk away. Even if you dont get the kill early on, the pressue is there and your team will capitalize (if they aren't potatoes).
