Chaac's Skill Order Notes Start with Thunder Strike, but try to max all of the skills as evenly as possible since they’re all used frequently. Runeforged Hammer pairs with Rain Dance extremely well. Thunder Strike gives you poke. Torrent is great for initiating with a Thunder Strike into Storm Call, activating Arondight. After Storm Call causes Arondight to proc, use Rain Dance to slow any target you choose, then just auto them and stab with Torrent when it’s off cooldown.

Personally I wouldn't recommend an AA based build on Chaac, however keeping a focus on the full tank solo damage build but having 1 item to flex some attack speed is fine imo as it lets you run people down with your Rain Dance.

In the current solo meta for ability warriors, there are generally more consistent "core" items than there has been previously. Starting with Fighter's Mask being essential and also Warrior's Axe / Sundering Axe being the best starter item / upgrade which you both have covered which is great. Then moving forward, Mystical Mail, Pridwen, an item from the Talisman tree and Void Shield are pretty much essential as they all enable you to deal great damage while being extremely tanky. Personally I usually go for a Magi's Cloak or an alternative situational in the final slot so that I can pick up Blink Rune and Sundering Spear and not Purification Beads.

You could go for a build with damage items like you have but late game you will be easily killed wasting slots on damage instead of defence.

So looking at all of these items, in my opinion a solid build for Chaac going something like:

Fighter's Mask > Warrior's Axe ( Sundering Axe) > Mystical Mail > Talisman of Energy > Pridwen > Magi's Cloak > Swap Fighter's Mask for Void Shield

However if you wanted to flex some attack speed and keep the build solid I recommend 1 of these 3 options.

So I just suggest playing around and seeing what feels best for you, but definitely remove Runeforged Hammer and Arondight currently and I'm sure you will see a great improvement.

Question. Talisman of Energy doesn’t elaborate on what an enemy is. Does this include minions and jungle monsters? TIA.

If an item says just "enemy" then it will apply to gods, minions, anything targetable.

Talisman has a maximum of 6 stacks which can be gained either through 6 minions or if you kill/assist 1 enemy god it will give you all 6 stacks.

Hiya, when it doesn't clarify, enemy can be either god or minion. When it only applies to gods, it will specify clearly. Talisman applies to any nearby enemy including minions.

I really love the detail you put into this. As I originally stated, I made and use this Chaac build from scratch and I’m seeing very good results. I think the items I selected all flow well with Chaac’s kit. However, you did bring a lot to the table and I will definitely take all of it into consideration and make changes to this build guide when I have more time. I am currently at work so maybe sometime later tonight. Thank you very kindly for such an insightful and constructive post.
