This build gives Danz a ton of health and movement speed on demand; your 2 is a small heal, and it can be used to proc the Shield Of Regrowth frequently. With the additional cooldown from the Shogun, it lets you zoom around the map when using your 2 then your 3, especially coming out of base or if you needed to back but have to get to a fight to support the team. The Qin's Sais and Leader's Cowl give you enough power to give decent dents into tanky targets and leave squishies bruised if they go up against you too long, letting you selectively poke your targets with ranged attacks, while the Frostbound slows them and gives them just that bit of crowd control.
Shield of Regrowth and Frostbound can be traded in for any of the other strong items.
Danz support is interesting and unique. If you follow the core build, you can dish out decent damage while providing unique Crowd Control. While Danz doesn't have the instant CC that others have, such as Khepri, his 2 is a major deterrent; the 2 can turn the tide of a dive, or force the enemy to reroute while you dive them. Many seem to underestimate how good the pull on that 2 is, and sometimes you can nab a support in the early game with it while they dance under their tower line, and you and your hunter, both with ranged attacks, can combine to take them out. It can block most jungle points to prevent a potential gank, and its jar has a hitbox of its own, meaning it can be used to defend allies, placing them in-between a hunter 1v1ing them will give them a few more hits of survivability. In the late game those health points stack up and the 2 gets really obnoxious for them.
You have to time the 2 correctly, but if you're worried about it, invest in max cooldown and you can dish it out as frequently as you want.
Using the 1 for CC isn't nearly as efficient. Its best to use it while you're engaging or helping peel an enemy off someone else, but try and not rely on it; your 2 will be your best form of CC.
Your 3 is an interesting gambit; you can use it for crowd control, but the enemies have to be inside, and you cannot leave the zone. So what I do, in the late game, I use Shield of Regrowth; routing the enemy into me, I place the jar directly in front of them and zoom ahead, then using the 3 while I am in front of them. That, in combination with Frostbound, can slow them down long enough to secure a kill. Otherwise I use it during ganks, placing it down the lane or in a position that forces the them to go around me or through me.
Overall, Danzabouro is a very fun character to play as support, and in the late game they have enough protections and HP to provide tanky support for the team, with decently reliable CC in his kit, along with good damage to out-push other supports.
